Like many movie buffs, I waited in line for hours this morning and was able to secure my tix to see Niu Lai the way it should be seen, in 70mm IMAX

Not everyone needs to be buying Rothko's immediately.
I believe cultivating a love and life long learning for the arts is what will create greater impact and allow someone to enter other art worlds more confidently rather than for a fleeting hype moment.

So, apparently, killing the old king doesn't make you the new king. You actually have to kill way more guys than that. But they don't tell you that beforehand. So you can kill the king and think everyone's gonna be cool about it, but then you actually end up in a lot of trouble.

it’s important for women to get married so that they focus on destroying one guy’s life instead of our entire society

I feel qualified to chime in here.
Being middle class is a relatively new thing for most of the developing world. A table full of food feels luxurious to the Thai, the Turk, the Arab, the Indian, in a way westerners don’t quite grasp. Hunger is too far distant from our psyche.
I look at a table like this and I see gluttony and waste. The Turk feels content with the feast laid out before him. The table laden with food represents success to him in the same way westerners view a well manicured lawn or a decent wine collection. They are still at the safety stage of industrialization. Westerners want self-actualization.

Dennis Rodman would go party in Vegas, take enough cocaine to kill a bear, drink copious amounts of alcohol and them fly back to an nba finals game and lock up Karl Malone.
This guy drinks a glass of wine and can't podcast for 3 days
Steven Bartlett says a few glasses of wine ruined the next 3 days of his life
“It's one of those areas where you don't understand the hidden cost until you really give it up for a while. I stopped drinking at 30 years old. I'm now 33. When I was 31, I thought, I'll have a drink again because now I could really A/B test it. I had a year of not drinking, decided to have a drink again”
“It ruined three days of my life. I had a couple of glasses of wine, didn't get drunk. It ruined three days of my life because of the domino effect it caused”
“I got worse sleep that night, and then because I got worse sleep that night, I ate more poorly the next day because my dopamine system or whatever, the cortisol system was all messed up. I podcasted worse. I didn't go to the gym that day or the day after because I felt really bad. I then slept worse, and I could track all of this on my Whoop”
