I guarantee you are not prepared for where this goes
This one's spectacular. In the 1960s, London's Mews were still being used to keep horses. This clip spoils us with a lovely glimpse of the people, pubs, and lifestyle among the cobbled backstreets that have since become expensive housing. They certainly had more personality then than nowadays. @Britains___Pubs

This is great, but my favourite Wikipedia page is a PhD in its own right. Someone has charted the movements of Roman emperor from 337-363: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itiner…
unbelievably good wikipedia entry if you're looking to kill five minutes or so en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unparl…

If that was the first photo of him then is this also the first film of him? Shortly after showing him the first photo of him did they show him the first film of him, seeing the first photo of him? What a postmodern day that must have been.

And surely one doesn’t need to be “educated the expensive way” to notice the difference between Claret and Beaujolais? They’re very different wines.

Main thing I now want out of this is a definitive ruling on whether @wmarybeard is Professor Emerita or Professor Emeritus. I remember Pat Easterling was Regius Professor (not Regia) but have times changed since then?
Beard is Professor Emerita at Cambridge, so the parameters of the discipline at that institution seem most relevant. Is there an institutional definition which you would prefer?
