Introducing Sextant: App Store intelligence built by an indie dev, for indie devs.
I've been building iOS apps since 2017, and I've poured everything I've learned about ASO into this tool.
Most indie apps target keywords they'll never rank for. Sextant is a Mac app that maps who ranks for every search around your app, scores each one by fit, popularity and difficulty, and tells you which ones you can actually win.
It's live on Product Hunt today 🚀 (link bellow)
If you’re using Codex because of all the resets don’t bother. They are not free anyway as they just push back your usual reset so half the time you don’t gain much yet it makes OAI look generous. Just use Opus 5.5 it’s far better model esp. at app dev.
Announcing “No Spoilers” browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, Edge (Safari coming soon).
Ever recorded a sporting event to watch later and then had the result spoilt when you browsed the internet. Well no more. No Spoilers is like ad block for topics.
Available now. vibeslopsoftware.com/no-spoi…
At this point I don’t want more tokens I want a more reliable and faster model. Ultrafast is not available on my Max 200 plan and fast doesn’t seem much faster for the cost. Opus 5.5 just seems a lot faster at this stage.
Trying to make a game using these state-of-the-art models is fairly easy, but to try to make a polished game that is refined, polished and reliable is immensely hard. I've been working on an adaptation of a card game for the last three months, I and it's not the kind of content that everyone else has been posting, it's been very painful journey, but I'm getting closer. I'll do a full write up once I've released it but if you see a video same game dev is solved, I can assure you it's not, it just makes for great viral content.
If you've been using Codex for a while and not checked out Opus 5.5 I urge you to do so. It's a really great model esp for design related tasks and mobile apps. It's just so well balanced.
With the upcoming reset, I’ve got Astra running on fast mode in ultra reasoning. Need to get as much out of it as possible prior to the reset haha.
Just released Skill Manager 1.1!
Skill Manager 1.1 adds an option to keep slash commands for skills you've turned off. Switch it on in Settings › General and they still run as /skill-name in Claude Code, but stay out of Claude's context until you type them.
Also lots of other refinements, bug fixes and improvements.

Introducing Skill Manager.
Your coding agent loads every skill's description, whether it's needed or not wasting precious context and potentially loading conflicting skills.
With Skill Manager you can switch skills on and off one at a time, group them by theme either manually or by using the AI auto-group feature, and toggle with just two clicks from the menu bar.
Skill Manager also scans your skills for potential issues, and can even perform an AI review for those more complex of issues.
Works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and more.

The phone call thing is a bit weird. It’s not a real phone call and doesn’t appear to use the phone call API on iOS which apps like WhatsApp and etc use. It’s just a simulated phone call using ChatGPT’s live voice mode feature.
My feed is full of posts about Dots, yet because I'm in the UK I can't try them. Maybe just maybe regulatory issues could be resolved before launch. Maybe I'm asking too much.
Opus 5.5 is a really nice model. I think it could be my new favourite (for now). Just talks plainly, is very good at app dev, computer use is good (not as slick as ChatGPT). Just seems a good all rounder. GPT models just seem to over complicate everything.
