Today I turn 88…I’ve seen some serious shit. The most serious of it all is love. I love my family, my friends, and my wonderful fans. The power of love remains.

So here's the deal. We're launching our Kickstarter for the Land&Sea tabletop miniatures game. This is a link for the pre-sign up. If you sign up, and purchase the game, you get a special challenge coin with the Rhino Class ASHUR rig logo. It provides the bearer the right to force an immediate reroll of the dice, once per game. That's right, it's a cool token, and playable!
Please let your friends who are gamers who love stompy mech action. land-sea-creativejuggernaut.… @wargate @RazorFist

I've always been curious about the RPG "Autoduel." Have played GURPS/Ninjas and Superspies, but not this one.

TSR made WHAT?!
Back in 1981–1982, while Dungeons & Dragons was taking the gaming world by storm, TSR was experimenting with something a little different.
MINIGAMES!
For just $2.95, you got a complete little game packaged in a clear plastic case, containing a rulebook, map, counters, and dice.
And the subjects were all over the place!
🧛 Hunt Dracula in Vampyre.
👽 Stop an alien takeover in They’ve Invaded Pleasantville.
⚔️ Battle for control of an alien world in Revolt on Antares.
🐎 Fight alongside the gods at Ragnarok in Viking Gods.
And that was just half the lineup! There were eight games in all, ranging from sword and sorcery adventures to Arctic exploration, space combat, and even the Battle of the Alamo.
The games featured some familiar TSR talent, including Tom Moldvay, Steve Marsh, Jeff Dee, Erol Otus, and Bill Willingham.
And just look at those glorious covers! ❤️
Did you own or play any of TSR’s Minigames? Which one was your favorite?

I remember this from the 1st edition of the MechWarrior RPG for #BattleTech, and seeing it brings back so much nostalgia! I just wish they’d gone with this style of artwork back in the day. Imagine how incredible this monster would have looked in the original books!

It's a brilliant game, they've made it slick enough that you can actually play it in realtime, issuing commands with keystrokes. Scenarios seem limited so far, would be great to see some characters + dialogue, but it's all so well executed and addictive :)

My American brothers and sisters
Did you know Japan has a phrase called “Sunday driver”?
In Japan, it can describe someone who doesn’t drive very often, especially someone who mainly drives on Sundays or other days off.
It can also describe someone who drives very slowly or overly cautiously, especially when they’re not used to driving.
Does America have a similar expression for people like this?
