56,000 people heard their pastor tell them to vote this weekend, right here in Arizona. Some say the pulpit has no business near an election. If a pulpit can't speak to life, marriage, and justice it has already lost its voice. Where do you land?

Katie Hobbs has made blatantly false accusations against Andy Biggs' character that are beneath her position as the leader of our state. She should apologize & work to bring an end to the threats Andy is experiencing as a result of those ungrounded hits. ktar.com/arizona-politics-ne…

Looking forward to joining my friend Aaron next week to talk about Christianity Today and the hubris of the evangelical establishment when it comes to politics. Bummed our buddy @SlowToWrite won’t be there, but Aaron and I will still on and make sure it’s a good discussion without him!
This hits home. There was such a spirit of pride and arrogance in the church in the 2010's. We wanted to be smarter, more loving, more charming and winsome, more "diverse" than the past generation of American Christians. We acted as if we were just kind and smart enough, the world wouldn't hate us quite as much. I got wrapped up in it. The reality was, the message got softened, but no more souls were won. We just got to post some chest-thumping tweets as things got worse around us. The world got darker. Clarity is needed more than ever, and often that comes in stark and even harsh words. Not to revel in, but to convict. Then the Lord will call and collect his own.

Just spoke to two people who have not voted. We talked about why. There was no good reason to wait. They aren't more available on election day than they are right now. In fact they are less available to vote on election day because the wait is longer. Don't wait. Go vote today.

A couple things on this, because progressives use this to bully and intimidate (conservative) pastors into silence: 1) While I am very clear about the evil of many policies currently being advanced by the DNC and CLEAR moral asymmetry between the proposed policies of the parties, I do not endorse candidates right now. 2) Progressives selectively report churches to the FFRF every year. You'll never see this article about the (primarily AA) churches Democrats are in every week leading up to an election. It's an attempt at street-level lawfare. 3) Articles like this are toothless and you should just chuckle at them. We have a lawyer that argues Religious Liberty cases before SCOTUS at Lakepointe. No church in US History has ever had their tax exempt status removed for a sermon, much less for one in which a candidate was not even endorsed. 4) In the words of a couple knowledgable guys I consulted with, it's a harassment and intimidation tactic to silence pastors. Intent of this post isn't to be combative, but I have realized this fear has intimidated some pastor friends and after looking into it, wanted to remove that fear. BOTTOM LINE: You are 100% free to be clear with your people about the (radical) moral asymmetry between the current proposed policies and ideologies of the parties AND to encourage your people to vote as an application of the command to be “the salt of the earth” and to “seek the welfare of the city” and to “live your neighbor”.

NEW DATA: Nearly 8 in 10 Arizona voters say taxpayers are getting a poor return on public schools—including a majority of Democrats. Those same voters also support school choice. That’s why the superintendent race matters. Kimberly Yee is running to put public schools back to basics (phonics, traditional math, vocational skills), cut the political distractions and indoctrination that pull time from academics, and bring real financial accountability to the system. Arizona parents know the status quo is failing; the system just won’t admit it. Full story: dailysignal.com/2026/10/12/a…

Emails just dropped: Mayes’ AG office went to the ACLU and Prison Law Office — the same groups that spent years suing Arizona’s prisons — for help hiring staff. So much for “moderate.” Arizona needs an Attorney General with integrity and common sense. Support Warren Petersen. foxnews.com/politics/moderat…
