Small businesses are told to cop card fees, but in a stunning act of hypocrisy, the ATO refused. Instead, it will stop accepting credit-card tax payments from businesses from 1 December.
Small businesses use credit cards to manage cash flow. Taking away that option makes it harder to keep their businesses running.
Albanese and Chalmers are clueless about how small business works and clearly don’t care.
The ATO must reverse this decision immediately.

We hear today that 6 carriage doors on trains passing through the $23B SW Metro train project cannot be opened because some bright spark public servant failed to ensure the ordered trains fit the platforms. The Govt has known about this “monumental stuff-up” for a year & ordered mechanical fillers to close the gap between the platform & carriages. But these are not big enough to close the gaps at some stations. Morons steering this runaway Govt. Aren’t you filled with confidence that this crowd is running our State?

Nine took $16.1 million. Seven's side of the new Southern Cross group took $11.3 million. Crikey, The Conversation, The Saturday Paper and Mamamia are all there.
News Corp, Sky News and The Guardian were barred from even applying. Opinion writing doesn't count as news under the government's own rules. And no funded newsroom ever has to tell its readers.
The fund ran dry in 28 days. One recipient was two days old. Another collapsed five weeks later.

A Scottish grandmother posted the following today, and the whole incident has sickened me.
"This is my grandson, Lucas, being attacked by a gang of Asian youths.
Lucas attends BELLAHOUSTON ACADEMY in Glasgow.
Lucas is 12 and from the day he started at this school, he has been bullied for being white and little bit overweight plus he is tall for his age.
Lucas has ADHD and a degree of Autism.
These youths are from his school and are older.
They told him they will Rape, Stab or Shoot his mother.
They are terrorising the whole area and have been for around a year. We have now involved the Police, Media and written to the Board of Education.
He is terrified to go back to school, Lucas is the kindest boy you could ever wish to meet.
This has to stop".
