I write an article about the lack of evidence behind using Brix for insect pest management.

Doing a field we did a split planter of seed. Two major players, one fell on its face.
Let’s say the good one is one everyone was so concerned about tassel wrap on. Tassel wrap is nothing compared to tar spot on the other hybrid.

This is such hogwash.
If soils were depleted of nutrients, yields would be falling. They aren't. I am not sure where this commonly-held idea comes from but my guess is that it's from regenerative ag's pop ecology notion that soils should be able to supply all the nutrients crops need without fertilizer inputs.
No wonder the public thinks badly of ag; they are fed these lies from sources that should be trustworthy but aren't.

Centric is labeled for PMB.
Recommendation of 2.5 oz plus
1 pt MSO per acre. Don't spray red or dead plants, mow it or graze it.
Regrowth or actively growing green leaves are necessary for a Foliar Spray to work with this product. But it works when applied correctly.

Our requested deadline has come and gone, and neither ATF nor DOJ responded.

This is from a pivotrac rain guage right east of White Deer. That’s 4.05” since August 2025. In terms of rainfall I’m not sure I can think of a worse 12 month span.

If you are seeing these in your cotton.
they are NOT PASTURE MEALYBUG. DO NOT SPRAY. These are good bugs, no need for chemical warfare.
This is the Scymninae family of Ladybeetles, called Diomus terminatus. The early instars look like PMB bc of white coating. The last larval instar for looks like the second image (brown larva). The third photo is an adult. Those larva will eat 30-50 aphids a day. Adults do not feed nearly as much since they are trying to reproduce.
As long as the paddles don’t get thrown on the field I see no comparisons
