Congratulations to Vinny Caccavale on his promotion to Director of Annual Giving with the @UConnHuskies!
“Since joining our UConn Annual Giving team in May 2024, Vinny has been a leader in Storrs, taking on additional responsibilities well before his July 1, 2026 promotion to Director of Annual Fund. In addition to driving philanthropic revenue through his own donor caseload, he has led the implementation of weekly team metrics aligned with UConn Foundation standards and strengthened our partnership with UConn’s Athletic Development leadership.
We’re excited to see Vinny build on this impact and continue elevating our Annual Giving team in his new role!”
— Craig Cugno, Corporate Vice President
Proud to see Vinny continue to grow with #TeamTaymar and take this next step in his career at UConn. Congratulations, Vinny!

UConn continues to invest in football, don't let the lazy narrative tell you otherwise.
The UConn Board of Trustees approved a Final Budget of $5,345,500 to upgrade the existing outdoor football practice fields.
The new fields are also creating a new opportunity for fundraising assets as the Foundation is seeking naming opportunities. @UConnHuskyAD and team continue to stay creative in finding ways to make it work.
