As institutions move on-chain, privacy becomes increasingly important. Stellar is home for them. Keep @BuildOnStellar. Stay Cell 馃崗
Privacy is becoming one of the biggest narratives of this cycle. For financial applications, not every payment needs to be visible on a public blockchain. A user's transaction history can reveal who they pay, how much they spend, and how frequently they transact.

This gives fintechs a way to keep users' internal payment activity private while maintaining an on-chain record when funds leave the channel. More to come soon. Stay Cell.

Users can transfer USDC within a Cell channel without creating a Stellar transaction for every payment. The actual funds remain in an on-chain escrow. When users withdraw, the escrow releases the assets to their Stellar wallets and the withdrawal is recorded on-chain.

Consider a fintech with thousands of users holding USDC. Users may make hundreds of transfers within the platform every day. Making every transfer public would expose their payment activity to anyone watching the chain. Cell Protocol lets the institution operate these private payment channels through its own off-chain infrastructure, keeping internal transfers off-chain and away from public view on Stellar.
