Here is my take:
First, I do think the last few months have taken a toll on Apple’s reputation with developers and overall enthusiasts.
That’s not going to make their cars more affordable, but it will make them pioneers in this trend (if it becomes one) and is making them less serious and more cool. Kudos to them!
This is also a win for Apple to sell to other brands because the Apple UI feel will make affordable car manufacturers look a little more high-end due to the association with #AstonMartin.
