In the talk, it said that "the reproducing kernel for the order L spherical harmonics is simply a sum of zonal harmonic functions", it seems that (2l+1)/4π P_l(x dot y) is not the zonal harmonic functions.

Cool, your cloud is very smooth. How did you remove the spatical artifacts of the structured sampling? Use blue noise to dither the ray start and use taa to reomve dither artifacts? Thanks. Left is reference, right is my structured sampling implemention.

I try the structured sampling, it works, but it seems that the cloud is get cracked, is there some bug, or this is the structured sampling inherent problem? Thanks. left is reference, right is structured sampling.

If you use hdri sky, you must use 22ev hdri image, left is 22ev, right is not 22ev. right just remove some brightest sun pixel, lighting is very different.
