Finally, I used @ches_data to calculate the weighted average ideological positions of the EP party-groups on the Left-Right and Pro-Anti EU dimensions
- Some notable stability (EPP, S&D)
- Some decreasing polarization on EU-dimension
- Far-right groups drift further to the right

With the new SPEED @ches_data out, thought I'd compare the positions of the main parties in the UK with their western European counterparts. Conservatives and Labour on their families' right, but Lib Dems and Greens to the left of many other Liberal and Green parties.

Been a while since Germany had a national-social party in the parliament. The INSA poll puts #BSW #Wagenknecht well above the Bundestag threshold.
National-social parties have recently been more successful elsewhere. ⬇️ This month, Slovakia's Smer has returned to govern.
