So many orangutan mothers and babies JUST LIKE THESE TWO are separated EVERY DAY due to the illegal pet trade and the palm oil industry destroying their homes. This needs to become mainstream awareness; we need the world to feel the mass grief that these creatures are facing.
Hutan bukan cuma tempat hidup manusia. Di sana ada kehidupan lain yg juga punya hak untuk bertahan!!

No fighting, no jealousy, just innocent babies.
How can humans traffic them?
Whoever trafficked them up have the heart to tell the Govt anonymously , from where you brought them and where their mothers are.
They can't speak. You can.

If this is real then this is animal abuse. Violently assaulting an animal that has no idea what is going on and is scared and fighting for its life is animal abuse, deeply cruel, and disgusting. Anyone involved in this deserves prison.

How can you look at this and not feel anything but anguish and rage? We share 97% of our DNA with these beautiful creatures. They deserve so, so much better
An orangutan was rescued from a palm-oil plantation in Ketapang, West Kalimantan, after being found weak and struggling to breathe amid thick smoke from forest fires, Reuters reports.
The animal, named Sampurna, was diagnosed with hypoxia and a suspected acute respiratory infection but did not suffer any severe burn injuries.

The destruction of their homeland
through clearing the jungles
for the palm oil industry
is as devastating to the orangutans
as the fires
Palm oil is found in half
of all food/cosmetic/bio fuel products
and is harmful and unnecessary.
Check labels.
END PALM OIL

VIDEO: Rescuers in Indonesia’s Borneo have saved a mother orangutan and her baby from thick wildfire smoke. The pair, named Raya and Rayu, were found uninjured and taken to a wildlife clinic for further observation.
there’s nothing left. we’ve killed the the kind, intelligent orange people of the jungle. we’ve murdered ANOTHER entire species and nobody cares. why aren’t we all grieving

Sedih sekali tiap kepikiran mereka.
1. Orangutan Kalimantan
2. Bekantan
3. Lutung Abu-Abu Kutai
4. Owa Kelabu Utara
Kalau pohon terakhir tumbang, mereka musnah selamanya. Nggak bakal ada duanya di bumi. Nanti anak cucu kita cuma bisa mandangin sisa fotonya sambil nanya, "Kenapa kalian biarin mereka habis?" 💔
