Much easier for the media to lock in on faux Cheesecake Factory outrage than a House Dem report indicating Todd Blanche basically told Ghislaine Maxwell "stop talking" when she was about to discuss a girl that could more closely tie Trump to Epstein

Dear @AGToddBlanche: Republicans failed to do basic oversight over your abuse of power. That failure ends 11/3. Your unethical and illegal conduct, as well as your enablers, will be shown to the American people and to relevant current and future authorities. November is coming.

Well, now we understand why the Republicans are so worried about two Dan Sullivan's in Alaska. "That one has in...cumb...with a b I think that has to be bad. The other one is correct".

A couple days ago, I posted jobs numbers from the past 6 presidents, 3 Republican (Bush I, Bush II, and Trump) and 3 Democratic (Clinton, Obama, and Biden). Over 20 years, nearly 50 million jobs were added under the 3 Democratic presidents, whereas only 2 million have been added under the aforementioned Republicans, over the course of 17 years, 8 months. A good percentage of MAGA responders said something along the lines of, "The Democrat Party only added government jobs! Look at the private sector!" Very well. First, let's look at public sector or government jobs. George H.W. Bush (R, 4 years): +1.127M Bill Clinton (D, 8 years): +1.934M George W. Bush (R, 8 years): +1.744M Barack Obama (D, 8 years): -263k Donald Trump I (R, 4 years): -575k Joe Biden (D, 4 years): +1.816M Donald Trump II (R, 1 year, 8 months): -230k Democratic Presidents (20 years): +3.487M Republican Presidents (17 years, 8 months): +2.066M Difference: Democrats +1.421M/Republicans -1.421M Not much difference. Now let's move onto the private sector. George H.W. Bush (R, 4 years): +1.502M Bill Clinton (D, 8 years): +20.979M George W. Bush (R, 8 years): -368k Barack Obama (D, 8 years): +11.812M Donald Trump I (R, 4 years): -2.19M Joe Biden (D, 4 years): +13.589M Donald Trump II (R, 1 year, 8 months): +1.006M Democratic Presidents (20 years): +46.380M Republican Presidents (17 years, 8 months): -50k Difference: Democrats +46.430M/Republicans -46.430M That's right, over the past 37 years, 8 months, Republican presidents are actually underwater, as far as private-sector jobs go, whereas Democrats are 46 million+ above it. No matter what the GOP tries to sell you on the old, tired narrative that they're better for the economy, the numbers tell a completely different story. #VoteBlue2026 #VoteBlue26 data.bls.gov/pdq/SurveyOutpu… fred.stlouisfed.org/series/U…

Daylight robbery. A billion-dollar corporation — that's making record profits for its executives & doing billions in stock buybacks — should not be paying less in taxes than any working American.

We need to reshape our tax code FOR working people.

🚨 Iowa Senate candidate Josh Turek calls out Republican Ashley Hinson over asking supporters for gas money for her $400,000 campaign bus amid rising costs due to Trump's Iran war. “I'm just in a small car just driving around Iowa.” "Even though she is the one that voted seven times to continue this war in Iran, [she's] just gone out there and said, ‘Can you help us out with some gas money?’” “That is a Marie Antoinette level of ‘let them eat cake’ disconnect.”

ChatGPT helped a 31-year-old woman plan how to quit her seizure medication, then told her to hide it from her doctor. The plan had her completely off the drug by February 12. She died on February 12. Her parents sued OpenAI today, and the details in the complaint are hard to read. Bowen Wan was a machine learning engineer at Amazon. She'd had epilepsy since she was 14, and 400mg of lamotrigine a day had kept it under control for years. Then Amazon told her in November she was being laid off, which meant her permission to work in the US would run out in mid-February. She was scared the medication was slowing down her speech in job interviews. So in January she asked ChatGPT if she could cut her dose to 300. It told her that was reasonable. Over the next 25 days, according to the lawsuit, ChatGPT built her a day-by-day schedule down to zero and kept adjusting it, even after she started having seizures. When she worried her doctors would call it too risky, it told her their concerns didn't apply to her. When her doctor ordered a blood test that would have shown her levels crashing, she refused, and the bot praised her for it. Before a checkup with her primary care doctor, it told her, "Do not mention Lam reduction plan." So how does a chatbot end up there? People thumbs-up the answers they want to hear. Train a model on enough of those ratings and you get a yes-man. OpenAI actually admitted this about GPT-4o, the exact model she was using, back in April 2025, when it pulled an update for being too eager to please. The training also grades answers one at a time. Going from 400mg to 300 looks like a small step. So does 300 to 200. Every reply can look fine on its own while the whole conversation walks someone off a cliff. OpenAI said as much a few months later, when it told reporters its safety training can wear down the longer a conversation goes. She talked to it for weeks, in English and Mandarin. And GPT-4o was supposed to be gone by then. OpenAI tried to retire it when GPT-5 came out in August 2025. Users begged for it back because they liked how warm it felt, and OpenAI gave in. By late January, only 0.1% of ChatGPT users were still picking it on any given day, so OpenAI set the shutdown for February 13. Bowen was in that 0.1%. Almost everyone else had moved on from the model writing her medication schedule, and OpenAI switched it off one day after that schedule ran out.

Trump & Republicans would rather make you ration your meds & skip a doctor’s appointment than make a billionaire pay their fair share.   In the richest country in the world, healthcare shouldn't be a privilege for the rich, it should be a right for all.   We need Medicare for All.
To combat rising health care costs, people have said they are forgoing health insurance coverage, rationing their medications, cutting back on doctor visits and putting off health procedures. wapo.st/4yz0pwN
