In reference to the architectural decomposition diagram included in this presentation, Cypher is merely one of many modules in Omega AGI architecture! This is the result of stealth R&D exceeding 10 years, therefore it is a normal outcome, but as you can see even the crypto module is beyond SOTA.

For your reference, here is my story. We started AI Philosophy list with Marvin Minsky (and of course his many students and collaborators from MIT Media Lab) in year 2000. We systematically analyzed every approach to AI and I bet on the universal AI approach of Schmidhuber and Hutter from IDSIA. I started my R&D company in 2010 to prove to Marvin and others that this is how we would crack the problem of human-level AI. Sounds epic enough or nah? 😅

Degen "culture" is the dumbest and most anti-thetical thing that could happen to crypto.
The only people who win from that are professional serial scammers who drain retail down to zero, these people are usually "investors" and exploit the gambling habits of 0 IQ gen Z kids.
The management class has got to go.

None of the basic AI algorithms was invented by Hinton. And he didn't cite the OGs, not even in his later surveys. Details in the well-known report: teapawt.net/SchmidhuberAI/status/1…
The #NobelPrize in Physics 2024 for Hopfield & Hinton turns out to be a Nobel Prize for plagiarism. They republished methodologies developed in #Ukraine and #Japan by Ivakhnenko and Amari in the 1960s & 1970s, as well as other techniques, without citing the original inventors. None of the important algorithms for modern AI were created by Hopfield & Hinton.

Of course, I had it checked by neural network pioneers and AI experts to make sure it was unassailable.
Is it now acceptable for me to direct young Ph.D. students to read old papers and rewrite and resubmit them as if they were their own works? Whatever the intention, this award says that, yes, that is perfectly fine.
Some people have lost their titles or jobs due to plagiarism, e.g., Harvard's former president [PLAG7]. But after this Nobel Prize, how can advisors now continue to tell their students that they should avoid plagiarism at all costs?
It is well known that plagiarism can be either "unintentional" or "intentional or reckless" [PLAG1-6], and the more innocent of the two may very well be partially the case here. But science has a well-established way of dealing with "multiple discovery" and plagiarism - be it unintentional [PLAG1-6][CONN21] or not [FAKE,FAKE2] - based on facts such as time stamps of publications and patents. The deontology of science requires that unintentional plagiarists correct their publications through errata and then credit the original sources properly in the future. The awardees didn't; instead the awardees kept collecting citations for inventions of other researchers [NOB][DLP]. Doesn't this behaviour turn even unintentional plagiarism [PLAG1-6] into an intentional form [FAKE2]?
I am really concerned about the message this sends to all these young students out there.

The actual productivity appears to be basically the same: 0.023 vs 0.025 cars built per hour worked (we don’t have insight into complexity/variety differentials from this table). Manufacturing labor costs 16.2% as much in China as in Germany and is likely more flexibly deployed.
Enterprise-grade security: all of the standard security features you've come to expect from enterprise cloud/infra vendors, and more are integral in Cypher. You can set up roles, authorization and access according to your organization. We chose this path so that our own infra would be ready for extension from day 1 and we can deploy an entirely independent enterprise tech stack without dependencies on legacy software with questionable security. Most importantly, this makes decentralization more than a feature, but a fundamental architectural decision where security moves away from legacy client/server and ad hoc network setups to automated control of decentralized nodes yielding a completely new kind of enterprise architecture where internal and edge nodes are securely integrated without introducing any security loopholes, essentially upgrading corporate networks with military-grade cryptographic network security, a.k.a., web4.
Built-in ID and KYC/AML: Cypher is not an "anonymous" platform which was intended as a way to circumvent law in crypto networks. This approach is useless for a B2B platform, therefore we completely abandoned it. Identities are decentralized and private, meaning that they do not expose any information and do not compromise decentralization. We will support all modern forms of digital identity, most notably including KYC documentation, and we will give the nodes the ability to apply AML rules automatically, achieving perfect regulatory compliance. Identity is also Sybil and DoS protection itself, which is something illegal legacy crypto networks have to deal with via nonsensical and wasteful measures. We are withholding design details for now, but we can state that it is quite powerful and novel. The interesting part is that parties can divulge as much information as they like, achieving perfect alignment with both confidentiality requirements and regulatory/business requirements. Current analysis suggests that we have achieved 100% regulatory compliance in all major regulatory frameworks. The best part for cryptography is that this setup allows us to apply advanced privacy technology without violating regulations, which was how those crypto schemes were originally intended. ⭐️
