I am getting robo calls from SanFran about Deepseek inference services. What rolodex did my name land in?

I've been running my own inference engine lately. vLLM just gets in the way at this point and making your own has become trivial. Anyways, my Intel B70s are running an *abliterated* Qwen IQ3_S model at lossless quality currently. Decode rates shown are at max context; not 0

fyi, up to 84.5 tok/s across four cards now. More cards, more complexity, but it gets there eventually. Switching between Opus, Kimi, and Astra - 24/7 burn.

Day 25/ We are doubling all usage limits for all Pro 100/200/500 tiers and Business Premium, effective today. We heard your kind feedback and won’t be reducing usage limits for Pro 200, so your Work and Codex usage will stay the same. We’re also going to continue offering extended limits for dots for now, and usage of your dot will still continue to be separate from your default usage. And we'll of course also keep shipping better models and other efficiency improvements that increase your effective usage over time.

If the other SWE on your team are using Claude, be a hero and start doing code reviews with Codex + Sol-6.1-high instead. Claude is blind to its own bugs, and if your company is heavy on the Claude, it's automated testing systems are also likely going to be Claude based.

Did you know Qwen 27B can decompile console games on its own? It's that capable. On a completely unrelated note, an IRL frend just put up a repo that compiles Playstation games into web-playable WASM binaries. He's very smart but shy, so give his repo a Star to annoy him. 👇

Introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, it's a big jump over Argon which we released just 2 weeks ago. Gemini 4 Carbon is SOTA on cyber, long horizon tasks, ranks #1 on Artificial Analysis V5, significantly improves on usability in domains like coding, and is more aligned.

I suppose a downside of running your own engine though is it's harder to share optimizations? There's so many model variations at this point, it often feels like I'm starting of from scratch each time. Soon enough AI will just be able to one-shot the optimizations I'm betting.

My Kimi K3.1 subscription usage was pretty decent today, after months of it being shit. While it still doesn't feel as good as Opus 5.5 usage, it has lasted significantly longer than my Fable's usage. Kimi is way more easy going on security-sensitive tasks.

Day 23/ Much requested iCloud Main & Calendar plugins. Just kidding, today is a reset. Still much requested though!
Much requested, and now yours to connect: iCloud Mail and Calendar plugins are available in ChatGPT. Ask ChatGPT to find that email, catch up on your inbox, check what’s next, or update a calendar event. Phew. Available on all ChatGPT plans on web, desktop, and iOS.

Rotate your keys? Trusting any third party with your API key at this point is like trusting them with your crypto wallet keys. A bad idea. If using them locally, setting IP and billing limits might help. Sign out of main accounts when done with them, to invalidate 2FA sessions.
🇺🇸 🚨 USA: OPENROUTER.AI USER DATABASE AND API KEYS ALLEGEDLY FOR SALE A threat actor on an underground forum claims to be selling a database associated with openrouter[.]ai, including user records and API keys. The actor claims: * 251,996 user rows (about 250,000 unique users) * 207,847 API keys (described as sk-or-v1 format; active / revoked / expired mix) Alleged user fields include emails, usernames, password material (hashed and some plaintext claimed), names, signup dates, credits, plan and country. Alleged API-key fields include user linkage, key values, creation/last-used timestamps, spend and rate limits. The claim has not been independently verified. ⚠️ Analyst Note: If authentic, exposed API keys would enable unauthorized LLM spend and account takeover, and user emails/credentials would fuel phishing and credential stuffing. Key values and sample rows are redacted from our images and are not reproduced here. Unverified threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation of an OpenRouter compromise. Source: this is for subscribers only. agreed!
OPUS 5.5 REVIEWING ASTRA’S WORK!! This is why I still pay for an OpenAI subscription. Opus 5.5 is a great model, but it’s too damn lazy. It often delivers half-baked work, rarely digs deep enough, and fails to uncover the root cause of bugs. One thing is certain: if you’re a developer, you simply can’t rely on a single AI model.

I really like Astra + Opus as a combo. It's like having a Principal Engineer + Lead Product/Designer. Opus just doesn't have the same logical depth that Astra has, even if Astra does feel like an older model; it still has that big model feel to it.

Day 19/ Small updates. Calls connect much faster for dots, changing reasoning in codex & work mid conversation does not invalidate cache anymore and a we've also updated the codex cli.
