An apt day to remember that Dolly Parton once recorded a cover of Stairway to Heaven - and, in defiance of every moral law in the universe, she absolutely owned it.

Netflix executives "laughed" over the claim they demand movies and TV shows to restate plot points over and over for viewers.
"We actually all laughed when we watched that bit at the Oscars, but there's no such principle," Netflix film boss Dan Lin said. "I mean, if you watch our movies or TV shows, we don't repeat our plot. So I don't know where that comment came from. Certainly, we are focused on making great movies."

"Marty Scorsese hates this, that people don’t watch movies in movie theaters."
The only film Lebowitz saw in a theater this year was Spike Lee's "Highest 2 Lowest."

Crazy how @Boringstein has shaped American docustyle for the next few decades more than anybody else. As talented, passionate, and principled as a person can be. They’re an inspiration.
