@closemov broke my heart in a way I could’ve never imagined. Still thinking about it. Everyone stayed in their seats when the movie ended yesterday, hugged and cried. A movie for the ages. #a24 #closemovie

Immaculate performance by Eden Dambrine and direction of Lukas Dhont. What an experience of seeing it in theatre. It was beautiful and heartbreaking I don’t know what to do but sobbing silently. Good job! @closemov #CloseMovie #movietwit #Close – at Suan Chitlada, Thailand

I had to tap into some very deep breathing to get through this one! It's hard to imagine that anyone could capture moments of such perfection that you have nothing else to do but sob at the beauty & sadness. @closemov #closemovie

Lukas Dhont told Deadline at Cannes 2022 that ‘Close,’ #Oscars2023 nominee, was based on research he read about how the intimate friendships between boys change as they age. “It moved me deeply,” Dhont said bit.ly/3NlGbQ4 📸 Violeta Sofia

This is what friendship love looks like. Lukas Dhont and I after the Oscar nominees were announced for his movie Close (inspired by my book). Post your own what friendship looks like, sounds like, feels like #close #lovewins #oscars. Let's help his movie win!
