Most of the people that “don’t like you” don’t really know you and you haven’t done anything to them. You’re probably good at what you do, you’re smart, successful , and have done what they couldn’t or can’t do.

Very true! So now as leaders we have to decide what’s important to our program and overall mission. Do we focus on developing the best prospect for the next level or having the most popular program in the area, OR can we balance to have some sort of both 😶‍🌫️.

accountability is low because the highlight gets the followers, the fundamentals get the wins

Agree 1000% and bigger than that we need to do a better job of highlight the players that do those fundamental things really well, instead of constantly highlighting players because their athleticism is superior but lack IQ or feel. Accountability is at an all time low for the players that are just physically bigger faster and stronger. Gotta get back to some sort of balance on all sides.

The basics of basketball are getting lost. Fundamentals are being replaced by highlights. Too many players would rather take 6 dribbles to create a step-back 3 than use 1–2 dribbles to attack a gap and make the right read. Everybody wants the highlight. Not enough players want to make the right basketball play.

2027 Jamyr Coleman & 2028 Jayden Adams (Cresset Christian): This backcourt duo will provide a strong balance of scoring and playmaking this season. Two quick floor generals who shoot it well and create effectively off the dribble. Both can impact the game on or off the ball, spark the offense, and get teammates involved while applying full-court defensive pressure. @FBC_MBB @brdrleague @Juice_Coleman2 @Phenom_Hoops @Jayden_Adams2

6’7 2030 Nick Cannon continues to prove why he’s one of the top freshmen in the class.Skilled, versatile wing who shoots it well from the perimeter and makes the game look effortless. Plays with confidence, is a willing passer, and gives consistent effort on the glass. #NCFreshman40 @Ncannon30

There is obvious college appeal for 6'8 2029 Tolson O'Daniel (Northwood) as a floor-spacing forward. Really good in pick&pop situations. Really good shooter off the catch. Also has the ability to attack closeouts off the bounce. @tolsonodaniel #NCTop80
