The most annoying issue with current agentic models is their hygiene. The way they pollute the system environment, don't rotate logs, archives and dumps, install packages uncontrollably, etc., really shows how they were trained in throwaway VMs and it really affects usability.

something i've noticed is that china seems to not like speculative wealth, they purposely popped their housing bubble "house for living not for specilation", ban crypto, heavily regulized leverage and also the stock market honestly it just meamythey know their responsibility
They aren’t kidding by the way

Every PM has basically wanted to point at the button they want users to click, but instead spends time designing subtle nudges. Kudos to X for just shipping this arm.

If you or your loved one is getting fired from any of the big 4s anytime soon- it is because of such carblopped bhenjis and bhaiyas who cannot stop posting and boasting.
The new flex showing you they stole your job, don’t really work and eat slop all day.

Due to inflation I'm downgrading from ADHD to AD720p with ads

Not to sound all ā€œavocado toastā€ but I do think a generation who have been priced out certain adult millstones such as a house etc are opting for inexpensive necessities likes M&S food, Ā£6 lattes and such.

The pedestrianisation of Oxford Street is a godsend for cabbies. They can combine two favourite activities. Taking tourists on the most convoluted route to Selfridges to rack up a fare while having an extra 15 minutes to rant about Sadiq Khan.

I'm told multiple orgs in Microsoft Hyderabad received the voluntary separation mail. The way things are going, does Google even need that big fancy campus in the Financial District? If I'm buying a property in FD on OTPs, expecting rental yield, I will be very cautious.

ā€œArabs don’t produce literatureā€ is really something you can only say if you’ve never had a moment’s contact with genuine civilization. A mind totally consumed by television and self-help books.
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Novel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

One reason we may not see a lot of visible productivity increases from AI is that a lot of people are going to get more free time from automating their work but spend the extra time watching short form video and other forms of algorithmic addictive leisure
$META CEO: ""On Instagram, global time spent per user reached an all-time high and grew double digits year-over-year in Q3, with strength across both Reels and Feed. On Facebook, Reels time spent reached all-time highs both globally and in the U.S., with both growing double digits year-over-year. Threads also continued to scale, with time spent per user growing over 20% year-over-year.""

I stand my ground in saying that GrokBot (or equivalents i tried for all it matters) are just a slop productivity factory made to make you feel busy, while your actual productivity is cratering.
This is f*cking insane. SpaceXAI senior engineer (ex-Cursor): "99% of people open one GrokBot, ask it a question and close the tab I run 50+ GrokBot agents like a company. A Chief of Staff runs my day, 3 PMs hand out the work, 40+ workers ship it overnight, and I just check the results over coffee. That team does the job of 20 engineers" In this 1-hour workshop, SpaceXAI builds that GrokBot team from scratch, step by step GrokBot → Chief of Staff → PMs → 40+ Workers → Autonomous Company At SpaceXAI, 97% of engineers already run a team like this, and the ones who do are getting $750K+ offers. The rest are about to compete with them Worth more than any $5,000 agentic engineering course Bookmark it and watch today Then read how to build your own team of GrokBot agents in the harness engineering guide below ↓

hearing the word post-economic makes me want to give up on life
We're living in a horrifying, fascinating new era of Silicon Valley where: 1. You can build a startup in 9 months, get acquired (but rly acquihired) by OpenAI, Anthropic, or Cognition, and walk away a multi-millionaire 2. You can join the right company at 22 and become effectively post-economic And I don't think we've even begun to grapple with the degree to which this is warping an entire generation's relationship with money, ambition, work, and success. When your peers are making generational wealth before 25, what does a normal career even look like anymore

Musk’s interview went great: Reporter: What is your thought on the ban of foreign students, you were one of those kids, right? Musk: ā€œI think we want to stick to talking about spaceships.ā€ Reporter: I was told that any topic is good. Musk: ā€œWell no.ā€
