Taking FossaPay into the arena once again, our third attempt so far.
Last time, we made it to the interview stage. Then, we were barely a month into launch and had processed around $15k.
A few months later, we’ve crossed $180k in volume, onboarded more businesses, and shipped quite a lot since then.
No idea how far we go this time, but I’m looking forward to finding out.
For now, here’s our product demo 👇
If there is anything you need to learn as a founder building a finance product, it is that you can never underestimate how far people are willing to go to abuse your platform.
Some people will register a real business, get all the required documents, pass your verification checks, and still have every intention of using your platform for the wrong reasons.
Always remember... a registered business or a verified customer does not always mean a legitimate one.

Vinod khosla also says this “many VCs are net negative”.
Money is helpful but operational guidance and distribution access might be more valuable to founders.
Also some VCs tend to have an ego trip or hubris of thinking they know more than the founders. Even when they haven’t operated in that field before.
Revolut founder Nik Storonsky says one of his investors tried forcing him to fire his best person:
“He was forcing me to fire my best person, because he was too hardcore.”
“Of course I didn’t fire him. I said no.”
“Pretty early on I realized that quite a few VCs, they are not very operational, and they can be actually dangerous for the company if they have enough power. So every single investment round, we just remove VCs.”
“Now I don't have any VCs on the board. I think that's the best. You always need to have operators rather than VCs on the board, people who actually build business and who know how to do things.”

I was murdered at the Ecosystem Call Halloween Party. Who did it?!
My prime suspects are @penivera001 and @sunnyboss__.
Find out who murdered you on murderboard.fun!
One feature I really like.
If you have 10, 100 or even 1,000 people to pay, you shouldn’t have to sit there making transfers one after another.
Upload the list and get everyone paid in one go.
It’s salary week 💸
Pay hundreds or thousands of staff salaries at once with FossaPay Bulk Payouts.
Here’s how:
1. Go to the Bulk Transfers tab
2. Click Create Bulk Transfer
3. Select the wallet you want to pay from
4. Enter your preferred Batch Reference
5. Download our CSV template and add your staff payment details
6. Upload the completed CSV and submit
That’s it. FossaPay processes the payouts in one batch, so you don’t have to send salaries one after another.

Or people that go to events and only speak with people they know.
The whole point of events or conferences, is to connect and speak with someone you don't know.
That's why most people say conferences are boring: and it's bcos they fail to explore and stick to only familiar.
2,973 projects submitted to Colosseum’s World’s Fair 🎡
A new record.
I put them all in one image.
Tomorrow’s unicorns are tiny squares today.
Bullish on builders. Bullish on Solana.

Nobody did. But we were sure he was going win. Nobody really knew how he would.
Top 3 SuperteamNG products likely to be acquired next:
- Paj Cash, FossaPay, and maybe NectarFi.

This is beyond a space, it's a Masterclass!
Quick Question:
To @Nonso_Obiefule and @NzubeEzudo
Did you see Evolution’s traction and motion attracting acquisition?
Also, which other home-grown Superteam product do you see acquired next? You can pick one, two or three.

Excited to share that Evolution has joined Nuvion @ournuvion 🚀
When we started Evolution, we had a simple vision: make moving money across borders easier and more accessible for individuals and businesses, enabling them to go Global from wherever they were.
We believed that accessing global financial services shouldn’t be complicated simply because of where you live or where your business operates.
What started as a platform for exchanging digital assets grew into something much bigger. We built infrastructure that enabled people and businesses to hold multiple currencies, receive international payments, move money across borders, and access financial tools that were previously out of reach.
Along the way, we served thousands of users, processed millions of dollars in transactions, and learned firsthand what it takes to build financial infrastructure in emerging markets.
But more importantly, we saw just how much work remains to be done.
As we continued building, one thing became increasingly clear: solving cross-border banking challenges at scale requires more than a great product. It requires strong financial infrastructure, regulatory reach, and the ability to serve businesses wherever they operate.
That’s what makes this next chapter with Nuvion particularly exciting.
Nuvion is building an AI Powered Global banking platform for ambitious businesses, bringing multicurrency accounts, international payments, FX, virtual cards, and stablecoin infrastructure together in one place.
Our visions have always been closely aligned, and joining forces gives us the opportunity to pursue what we started at Evolution on a much larger scale.
For me, this is an opportunity to take everything we’ve learned building Evolution and apply it to something with the infrastructure, reach, and ambition to serve businesses around the world.
I’m especially excited that members of the Evolution team are continuing this journey with me at Nuvion. We’ve spent years building, solving difficult problems, and learning together. Now we get to bring that experience into a much bigger mission.
To everyone who believed in Evolution, our early customers, investors, partners, community, and the incredible people who contributed to our journey: thank you.
You trusted us when we were still figuring things out, challenged us to build better, and helped turn an idea into a real business.
I’m incredibly proud of what we built, and even more excited about what comes next.
Evolution was never just about building another fintech company. It was about making global banking accessible for the people and businesses who need it.
That mission continues at Nuvion.
The Job is just starting
I'm definitely coming back to listen to this, what a space!

What did we miss, and what are you shipping this week?
Adding Stellar to your product can go beyond creating a wallet for your business.
You can also use FossaPay to create wallets for your customers, giving each customer a wallet for sending and receiving assets on Stellar.
If customer wallets are part of what you’re building, our API docs are a good place to start: docs.fossapay.com/
If you’re building a product where your customers need to receive and send USDC on Stellar, we’ve just shipped something for you.
You can now use FossaPay to create wallets for your business and your customers, with support for XLM and USDC.
What are you building? I’d love to see where this could fit.

At the Solana Fall Class, @jacobvcreech said: don’t wait to be noticed. Share the work.
So here is one recent work
@cap offered to sponsor anyone who shipped a performance PR with benchmarks. I sent one, it got merged and got me my first GitHub sponsor.
Here’s what the PR does:
Importing a video into Cap was slow for two reasons:
The decoder ran on one CPU thread (FFmpeg’s default)
The encoder used a live-streaming mode that handles one frame at a time
I fixed both.
1080p: 62s → 33s
4K: 82s → 43s
Same output quality.
