All of the elite athletes I know eat ice cream, pizza, candy, and have an occasional beer. All of the mediocre athletes who are big on social media: lose their minds at the thought of some of those things. This holds beyond nutrition. Build robustness, not fragility.

Why your favorite hybrid athlete is likely deceiving you. At 185 lbs (yes not HUGE), I’ve run 1:54 in the 800 and 4:29 in the mile. I still lift 3x/week. Still try to persevere as much muscle/strength while attempting to really lower those running numbers in the coming months. But here’s what most people in the hybrid space aren’t telling you. 🧵

"Going into debt to pay for my wedding was among the best decisions of my life. When I got married, I figured if I am an adult and I can’t spend my money to throw the biggest party of my life to celebrate marrying the woman of my dreams, then what the hell is the point of any of this?" charliebecker.substack.com/p…

I'd love to connect with type 1 diabetic developers to see how I can help the community with my skills (and my 25 years of diabetes 🙂). Please get in touch anywhere you can find me online. Would you be willing to help me by sharing this? 🙏

When I see a startup that has outsourced the development of its software, it's a near automatic no. I say "near" automatic because I can imagine marketing-focused startups where the quality of the product comes second. On the other hand, I can't imagine one getting huge...

Most people need consistency more than they need intensity. Intensity: -run a marathon -write a book in 30 days -silent meditation retreat Consistency: -don't miss a workout for 2 years -write every week -daily silence Intensity makes a good story. Consistency makes progress.

This email from @raulmt about Cupcake caught my eye. Especially because of all the privacy concerns people seem to have these days. It’s a simple app with a cute design to remember your friends’ birthdays. Check it out on @ProductHunt: producthunt.com/posts/cupcak…
Someone cold emailed me on Thursday from Chile. I am excited about their simple little app. I can’t wait to hear what other people think! Stay tuned, I’m posting it on @ProductHunt tomorrow 🚀
