Here are a few things I did to scale a home improvement company that was stuck at $1.5M to $4M in 10 months (no, not ads)
<> we fixed how long it took to get quotes out. what would take hours we compressed into minutes
<> took a hard look at the books. who were the best customers? where was the margin leaking? are we optimizing labor allocation based on gross margin goals?
<> that gave us the confidence to reposition the company, build a new website that was seo focused, commit resources to weekly seo work, and trust the data
<> combed through leads that been accumulated over the years and ran a sequenced email campaign
<> fixed up the google business profile and began posting 3x a week. progress photos, helpful content, inspirational content
<> a lead would reach out and maybe be contacted that day, maybe a few days later, now we make an immediate first touch within minutes of receiving an inquiry
<> made professional proposals with project renderings and clear contracts.
<> implemented employee career plans - if you stay and learn, you will earn, is our motto. we stick to it.
<> created a project board the company works off of. now everyone knows eah project status
<> launched cold email campaigns to our target market (single biggest revenue generator by far)
hope this gives you some ideas for your business, and let me know what you've done. share with someone who needs to hear this.
don’t blindly do things with agents
have an understanding, use your judgement, verify its plan
would you hire a new employee or agency and just let them rip?
We've entered the early singularity: AI is now helping build the next generation of AI, and the pace of improvement is outrunning our ability to adapt.
do you realize how far we’ve come in the past 6 months, let alone 12?
we are in the singularity and it’s ACCELERATING FROM HERE ON OUT
“Wow tvs are cheap now, it’s that
Chinese manufacturing!”
Lmao they’re selling all of your data 24/7
Making money on the hardware and on the backend
WTF, $3000 Samsung TV has an always-on mic, automatic content recognition, geo tracking, network mapping, and ships your data to Samsung + 400 partners.
Bro Rooted a brand-new 2025 Samsung TV after noticing absurdly targeted ads.
Firmware was locked down, so zero-days it was.
Got a root shell.
then found: always-on voice service, ACR, geo, full telemetry pipeline, and four separate DRM systems.
This isn’t a bug, It’s the product bro.
you’ll posture that these vulnerabilities don’t matter until you’re the one hacked (or better yet, your business)
it’s more common than you think

these php vulnerabilities dating back years got me thinking how no matter how many new versions of myself i release, i still have the same vulnerability when it comes to you. anyways, glad they're landing emergency patches. wish i could say the same about us.
it’s glorious
i need 100k sqft of open warehouse to put machines and equipment into
The year is 2050. The Great Lakes Megalopolis is the most valuable region on Earth.
Minneapolis – Milwaukee – Chicago – Indianapolis – Cincinnati – Detroit – Columbus – Cleveland – Pittsburgh – Toronto – Buffalo – Montreal
• 20% of the world's surface fresh water
• Urban centers with finance & tech hubs, and great universities
• Ontario runs one of the largest nuclear fleets in the world, generating up to 60% of its electricity, with grid-scale SMRs being built ahead of schedule. Illinois leads the US in nuclear power, and Michigan is bringing reactors back online.
• The region holds some of the largest untapped copper-nickel-cobalt-platinum-chromite deposits in the world, along with the gallium, indium, and graphite that China guards so jealously.
• The densest industrial base in the Western Hemisphere: heavy machinery, metal refineries, steel, auto, batteries, and aerospace backed by a deep pool of suppliers/engineers/skilled trades.
• Climate-resilient cities with municipal capacity that can absorb millions more.
sometimes I miss working for a publicly traded company
something about the pace, the people you meet and work with, the quality, expectations..
reminds me of playing sports
fun as hell
i’d like him to put a probability attached to this statement
if true, why wouldn’t everyone credit maxx?
no reason to save, no reason to keep busting ass
it’s a reckless statement from one of the worlds leaders
X is hilarious because you can get real opinions from operators who are doing the damn thing and showing how hard it is to build a brand of value
and
some 20 year old living in brickell who larps about ecom and doesn’t know how to read a p&l
choose who you listen to wisely!
