.@KamalaHarris: âWhen it comes to this president and his party, people are done. They are done with the Republican Partyâs broken promise to bring down costs on day 1⌠they are done with growing unemployment⌠people are done with the Republican Partyâs trillion dollar cuts to Medicaid, especially here in Georgia where 1 in 5 people rely on Medicaid⌠people are done with the cuts to rural hospitalsâŚâ

Pot meet kettle. Shall we pull all those articles you wrote dragging Kamala & having expectations of her that no other VP was required to have? Your articles were so terrible I figured you were rejected by black women in your life and Kamala became the object of your revenge.

Samsung taking their marketing in this direction might seem petty or immature, but I think that if Apple showed a little less arrogance in the launch phase, didn't pay for interviews with magazines, boastfully call previous foldables cheap & crappy, and talk on stage about poor app optimisations...then maybe other brands would respond with more class.
Apple launched their first foldable with zero humility, and it's coming back to bite them.
I can understand why Samsung might be feeling the pressure from the iPhone Duo, arguably its biggest competitor ever.
But I think a global tech giant like Samsung should show a little more class. There's really no need to mock a competitor or take pleasure in its product issues.
After all, what goes around comes around. The company you're laughing at today could be laughing at you tomorrow.
And let's be real, Samsung itself has had its fair share of quality control issues over the years.
No smartphone manufacturer is immune to mistakes. Sometimes, the jokes you make today can come back to haunt you tomorrow.@SamsungCanada

âYou are the folks who are doing the work day in and day out, the hard work to make democracy real. You are the ones who keep fighting, no matter the odds, who still have faith in that simple yet ambitious idea at the heart of our founding: that in America, the power belongs to the people.â

I genuinely think the current situation is going to destroy fandom on a foundational level. Not because we'll be without AO3 for a few weeks, but because it highlights the complete lack of respect or concern for fic authors. Especially in the light of the past two weeks 1/

i'll never understand why some people treat writers like money-hungry influencers
god forbid someone wanted some form of acknowledgment for the hours they've spent working on something. people forget writing is a lonely hobby, and if you receive silence, it's just not worth it

this. i genuinely alarms me that thereâs a very large amount of people participating in fandom these days who have never even heard of the fanfic dot net purges. we need to preserve fandom culture.
it takes at minimum 18 hours to write a chapter like mine. add more for revisions and edits. currently, the average sits at 16k words per chapter. all of this is for free.
readers burn through all of that in an hour or so.
leaving a âthank youâ after is just basic manners.
most fic writers donât want engagement to âget famousâ or anything. itâs just that when you put your heart into something, it feels good to know people liked and enjoyed it. it also helps motivation to write more. if you ignore fic writers, there wonât be any more fics to readđ¤ˇââď¸
