thanks, Universe, for the advice, I need this now.
“To be silent the whole day long, see no newspaper, hear no radio, listen to no gossip, be thoroughly and completely lazy, thoroughly and completely indifferent to the fate of the world is the finest medicine a man can give himself.” ― Henry Miller

Literally, how do you even run a proper business in this scammy market when you can't count on basically anything? You do a great job - treat your customers right, pour an insane amount of your advisory time into these projects, connect partners, set up tokenomics, handle marketing, negotiate with exchanges - just to watch some old American fuck start selling his BTC because he got upset with the crypto community he's fucked I forgot how many times. You literally can't do any long-term planning. You can't even think long-term. I used to think doing business in Web2 sucked. Now I think if you're in the funeral business or the garbage business like Tony Soprano - you've covered all your needs. Meanwhile we're here fucking our own brains over crypto and new tech. For what?

Prediction markets just traded more in October than in 2024 and 2025 combined. Sports contracts made up ~78% of volume, with football parlays alone at 67.6%. Add $800M+ US midterms elections. The bettors didn't come for the crypto. They came for the events.
👀👀👀 wow, prediction markets traded more in October than in 2024 and 2025 combined.

Kids club 👊 Keep ’em moving! Some of my fondest childhood memories are training with my dad. I remember being so eager to learn, constantly asking, “Dad, show me this! Show me that!” Feels like yesterday. Now, all these years later, I find myself in his shoes, sharing those same moments with my own kids. Funny how life comes full circle. Time flies. What a blessing fatherhood is ❤️🙏📷

I swear, the highest percentage of founders I've met wasn't in the US - it was in Bali. Every second person you meet is the founder of something.

Know thyself.
Andrew Huberman on the best advice he ever got: figure out the most real work you can do every day, consistently, and find a way to reset every week. "The best advice I ever got: there was a neurologist out at UC Berkeley and UCSF, Bob Knight, some years ago, very talented. I asked him for advice starting graduate school." "He said, 'Figure out the maximum amount of real work that you can do every day consistently, and then figure out some non-destructive way to reset yourself every single week.'" "I said, 'How do you reset?' He said he likes fishing. I like to hike. I like to get into nature and spend time with people while I do it. I figured out I could work X number of hours per day, 5 days a week, and I just stuck to it for 25 years." "People who take a ton of stimulants and just blitz, blitz, blitz, blitz, blitz. These are the same people that crash and disappear. You have to figure out and build your capacity." "Yes, you have to work extremely hard. You have to be extremely focused. But you also have to figure out how long you can keep this up." @hubermanlab

Top 3 things I noticed this cycle that I didn't see last cycle: 1. Projects don't believe in CEX listings anymore. They'd rather go the DEX route - and if a CEX reaches out for a free listing, fine, but they won't pay for it. Even when they have the money. 2. Tier-1 projects - well-known teams, solid cap tables, confirmed offers from tier-1 CEXs - also don't want to spend on listings. They're looking for the right partner to cover their listing costs, depending on the setup. 3. Perps have become a massive dealbreaker. The overall sentiment on CEXs? There are 2–3 left with organic, and then there's everyone else.
