The richness of American culture comes from the blending of and innovating on world cultures that were brought here by immigrants. This is our strength. Immigrants come for a better life, but enrich us all in the process.
America is made great by immigrants, not by hatred.

My name is Sara. I was born in Dallas and moved to Katy when I was 3. I live in the Cypress part now, but I have lived in Texas House District 132 for 42 years.
I grew up here, I raised my children here, I found community here, and my entire LIFE is in this district in Texas.
There is not even a teeny tiny part of me who wouldāve said yes if you asked me a year ago if I was interested in running for public office.
One conversation on the first day of early voting last year, with the man who currently represents my district, changed all that.
I walked away from the conversation determined to take his job.
I am a PEOPLE. In a government that was always intended to be OF the people, BY the people and FOR the people, I am a people.
And I want nothing more than to get to Austin and represent my hometown.
Everything else is background noise.
I am not a politician. I am not special. I am every single person in this state who has known what itās like to struggle, and I donāt want to stand on the sidelines for even a second more.
My story. 41 years in HD 132:
I got my first job at Boston Market on Fry Rd when I was 15. Itās a McDonaldās now, which is a shame, because I miss the sandwiches.
My second job was at Schlotzkyās on Mason Rd (old location)
From age 17-19 I worked at Cracker Barrel at I-10 and Barker Cypress.
From age 19-22 I was a bartender. I also got married and had two kids.
At 23, I was divorced with 2 small children and at a cross roads.
I woke up one day and decided that wasnāt the life I wanted for myself or my children. So I moved home with my mom and I enrolled in a Radiology Technology program.
My schedule for the next 2 years was:
School M-F 7:00a-3:00p. Come home, spend time with my kids. Put them to bed and then go to my bartending job from 8:00p-2:00a - back at school at 7:00a the next morning.
I graduated and my first job out of x-ray school was as an x-ray tech in a hospital working what they call a compressed weekend. I worked both Saturday and Sunday from 7:00a-11:00p for a total of 32 hours.
Only, at $16.09 an hour, that wasnāt enough to support my family. So I got an advanced certificate in Mammography and worked at a mammography clinic during the week.
I did that for 4 years. 72 hours a week for 4 years.
Then I was fortunate enough to be promoted into an Imaging Manager position. Not yet ready to slow down, I worked in that position as my day job, while also working at a free-standing ED as a CT/x-ray tech for a 12 hour shift each weekend.
Oh, and while doing all this, I was also chipping away at my Bachelorās degree.
It wasnāt until 2020 when I graduated from college that, for the first time in 25 years, I had only one job and wasnāt either working a second job or also attending school.
After a break of a few years, I am now working full time and running for office in every second of my spare time.
This is the most challenging journey I have faced to date, but I wonāt stop until my home town has someone in office who will actually be THEIR voice, and not the voice of billionaire donors.

literally no one is saying you have to have sympathy for charlie kirk or anyone else for that matter
what iām saying is the second you condone gun violence against your āenemiesā youāre condoning gun violence when it suits you and thatās hypocrisy
whether you have sympathy for kirk is irrelevant
the fact of the matter is no one should be shot dead at a college campus for exercising their constitutional rights
you cannot condone gun violence against kirk but be mad when gun violence happens to someone you donāt hate
you either condemn all gun violence or youāre just a hypocrite

If Bill Clinton raped girls on Epsteinās island or other properties, he should rot in prison for the rest of his life.
If Donald Trump raped girls on Epsteinās island or other properties, he should rot in prison for the rest of his life.
That wasnāt so difficult, was it?

āHow can you be married if you hate men so much?!ā
First off, I donāt hate men, I hate misogyny. I desperately want to believe there is a difference.
Secondly, there is such a thing as a feminist ally. You know, a man who also believes women should have equality and rights.

The conspiracy theorists saying awful things about Gene Hackman have never had to watch someone they love lose themselves inside their own body & fade away - right before your eyes. Alzheimerās is one of the cruelest diseases & you shouldnāt talk about what you donāt understand.

you can pretend you donāt care but we watched all of you crying about the cost of living and we know you thought trump would make things easier and heās not and youāre pissed but you canāt complain because youāre in a cult and itās so funny watching you struggle to pretend that everything is exactly what you wanted because everyone knows it absolutely is not and you got screwed lol š

it was never about witchcraft or water fountains
itās the need to marginalize and demonize communities that the ruling class deem less than so there is always a public enemy and a scapegoat to fill our private prisons and ensure our police quotas
these communities are denied resources and support theyāre forced into survival mode then punished for doing what they had to do to survive the conditions they were intentionally put in
iām not excusing crime but iām certainly not blaming someone for stealing food to feed their kids or doing illegal sex work because they have no other fucking options BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN DEMONIZED BY THE RULING CLASS
we are turned against each other by the people who rule over us

we are useful
we are cogs in a machine
fighting each other is exactly what they want because as long as weāre fighting each other we arenāt fighting them

Charles McGee died in 2022 at the age of 102.
He had been the last living member of the Tuskegee Airmen.
Charles McGee was a career officer in the Air Force for 30+ years.
He flew 409 missions, one of the highest combat totals and longest active-duty careers by any Air Force fighter pilot. The Air Force has stopped teaching about the Tuskegee Airmen, despite their distinguished military careers, contributions, and sacrifices.
This is disrespectful to the memory of the Tuskegee Airmen, their family, and future Air Force pilots.
Hey, itās what President Felonious wanted. The whitewashing of Black History.
Blacks for Trump, you voted for this racist.
Nelly, you asked how is he a White Supremacist.
What does he have to do next to make idiots believe heās racist? Have a noose outside the White House.
Public lynchings?
