$500,000 is the number
Once you have that much in a brokerage you can product $7,500-$10,000 a month in option income.
Thats taking into account 2-4 trades a month at low deltas & minimal effort.
Then life goes on easy mode.
In 2019, Robinhood $HOOD had ONE business generating $100M+ in annualized revenue.
Today? It has 14.
Let that sink in.
The newest addition is Rothera, its prediction markets exchange, which crossed $100M in its first full quarter.
Here鈥檚 the full lineup:
Equities Trading
Options Trading
Crypto Trading
Margin Interest
Margin-Based Securities Lending
Cash Sweep
Instant Withdrawals
Gold Subscriptions
Fully Paid Securities Lending
Bitstamp
Prediction Markets
Robinhood Legend
Credit Card
Rothera
Robinhood is no longer just a stock trading app.
It鈥檚 becoming a diversified financial powerhouse with multiple revenue streams.
And I think we鈥檙e still in the early innings.
Are you bullish on $HOOD long term?
Looking deeper into $HOOD earnings
The most striking number is event contracts: prediction-market revenue went from about $28M a year ago to $173M, more than 6x. That's now bigger than crypto and equities, and second only to options.
Top 3 pros:
-Prediction markets are a new growth engine. Event contract revenue was $173M on 16.4B contracts, more than 7x last year's volume. Rothera, Robinhood's prediction-market business, passed $100M a year in its first full quarter.
-Gold and deposits keep compounding. Gold, the paid subscription, hit a record 5.2M subscribers, up 34%, and about 40% of new customers sign up for it. Platform assets were $396B, up 19%, and October deposits already topped $13B month to date.
-Strong margins with costs under control. Adjusted EBITDA margin was 57%, the expense guidance top end was cut, and options and equities volumes hit records, with options revenue up 31% and equities up 41%.
Top 3 cons:
-Crypto collapsed. Crypto revenue fell 55% to $120M, and trading volume in the Robinhood app was down 48%.
-Engagement and quality slipped. Monthly active users fell 8% from Q2 to 13.0M, GAAP EPS missed at $0.51 (down 16%), and credit loss provisions jumped 173%.
-Rate-sensitive income is weakening. Net interest revenue fell 9% from a year ago, net securities lending flipped to -$19M from +$87M, and Q3 net deposits fell 28% from Q2's record.

My open swing book on Liquid right now:
$HOOD long 3x from 96.28
$SPCX long 5x from 149.95
$BMNR long 4x from 21.40
These aren't scalps. I'm holding them mid term and letting the thesis play out.
I put up $2,500 to control $9,000 of notional exposure.
This is where leverage helps a smaller account. You don't need a huge account to get meaningful exposure to names you believe in.
Moderate leverage like 3x to 5x lets a smaller account move like a bigger one, while keeping enough room to sit through normal swings without getting shaken out.
The key is sizing. Low leverage, conviction names, and patience beat 50x lottery tickets every time.
$BMNR is already up 5.2%, with $HOOD and $SPCX right around entry.

QQQ is at $717. The closest strike is 9.4% below, the furthest is 15.7% below. Deltas run from 0.02 to 0.07.
Even after the October pullback, QQQ needs to fall another 9% before a single one of these is in the money.
Having cash sitting on the sidelines isn't always a bad thing.
Especially when the market is volatile and opportunities are showing up everywhere.
Cash gives flexibility.
Buying power gives options traders opportunities.
Being 100% invested isn't a requirement for building wealth.
Not sure I have ever seen EWZ on top

Earnings this Thursday after the close. Options are pricing a 卤8.5% move.
I genuinely believe the next 10 years will create an unbelievable amount of wealth for patient investors.
AI, automation, robotics, energy, and technology are still evolving.
The difficult part won't be finding opportunities.
It'll be holding through the volatility without losing your mind.
