My daughter's preschool teacher asked her what my job was and she answered "Clicks buttons" which is 100% correct.

Hope everyone's enjoying their weekends - I just published this blog on Halo Fest recapping and reconfirming what we've announced up to point, and dropping a few new pieces of information.
Expect details to be released on a more rapid pace from here on out.

Jumping on here briefly to confirm Halo Fest is still on for December. No changes to dates, locations, etc.
For more details on the event, I'm going to please ask for your patience as our first priority is to provide support and care for our teammates. We will communicate more updates in the coming weeks.

The most dangerous phrase in software isn't 'quick fix', it's 'while I'm in here'. That's where the real damage happens.
The wait for the delivery is finally final. Now to just somehow wait until I get off work to start reading.
@OlanRogers @FinalSpace thanks for not giving up. Appreciate the hard work. The book is beautiful.
@OlanRogers
I stared at the pre-order form for 3 years and finally ordering just before pre-orders started shipping.
Let this be a small light at the end of the tunnel, I'm sure I'm one of the lasts US orders you needed to get shipped.
Everyone packing books earned cookie.

Starting to wonder if app developers have gone to far... I thought it was ai, but this is our Jurassic park.
I started watching @smartereveryday after he posted some videos about butterfly scales. Over a decade later and now I've spent hours learning about nuclear reactors.
Butterfly effect is a trip.
Today I described the feeling of not being able to type correctly while sharing your screen in a meeting as "Schrodinger's home row".
Not a single clap.

Warner Bros. Discovery will separate into two separate entities by mid-2026.
One will be called Warner Bros., covering HBO, Max, Warner Bros. TV and films, DC Studios, and gaming. The other, Discovery Global, will include CNN, Discovery, TNT Sports, Discovery+, and international networks.

2. With the GitHub plugin, you can view/respond to comments on PRs inline through android studio. This is great for addressing comments on your own PRs, but even better for reviewing PRs, and being able to easily click into usages of code. Way better than reviewing on GitHub.
1. In a world were we slap lambda's everywhere, the plugin "Rainbow Brackets" has hugely improved my ability to read code, and quickly know the scope of variables. Makes life easer and you don't even need to learn a new short cut. (There is a free version of plugin.)
