“They hid all their expenses via convertible notes redeemable at IPO. $108 billion worth.”
Looking forward to IPO for a great short.
Yikes. Anthropic just pulled the exact accounting trick that companies did in 2000 bubble for IPO.

Dotcom firms often paid suppliers, ad agencies, lawyers and even landlords with stock or equity to save cash. AOL swapped shares for services and ads (e.g., Homestore, DrKoop). Telecom suppliers like Lucent, Cisco and Nortel used vendor financing, sometimes with equity or warrants, to drive equipment sales.
Now it’s Japan’s turn. Toilet paper time 😭😭😅

"Our core product may end humanity"
One of a kind product!
Unpopular opinion, but if your IPO filing says your product might end humanity, maybe you shouldn't be allowed to operate.

The image attached to this post is fabricated and does not appear in Anthropic's actual S-1 filing with the SEC, which lists standard business and AI risks but contains no such statement about the "core product may end humanity."

In my humble opinion India’s decision to stop importing silver is what contributed in large part to the downward price action.
Now that their back importing this bodes well for future price.
🚨BREAKING HUGE: INDIA AUTHORIZES IMPORTS OF UP TO 209 MILLION OUNCES OF SILVER OVER THE NEXT 6 MONTHS⚠️ 👀
🇮🇳While silver prices endure a BRUTAL BEATDOWN, Indian authorities just quietly authorized imports of 6,500 metric tons of silver over the next 6 months- a full 1/4 of GLOBAL silver production‼️
🏦The bullion banks just collectively shuddered...

The most evil thing about this s-1 is how much accounting wizardry they did to trick retail.
They have $250B in spending commitments off the balance sheet and all their revenue is from api spend that can go away overnight with comparable competitors at 1/33rd the price
