There was no deal re Kentucky barrels during Swinney’s visit. Their use had already been secured before he went there. Nobody in Kentucky has ever heard of him, bar the few he met while he was on his entirely performative visit to justify the huge cost of his World Cup jolly.

John Swinney flew business class on his PR trip to the World Cup ... his flight alone cost taxpayers £18,000.
He took an entourage of EIGHT staff to the USA and spent £8,000 on car hire.

So, we are told that a £12,000 a year pension is unsustainable, (even though you have paid into it for the last 35years!) Yet paying £40,000 a year to house, and feed, an illegal migrant, who shouldn't be here and has paid nothing into the system is ok!

Extraordinary fact: half of the pensioners receiving the state pension paid into it for over 50 years.
In addition they paid income tax, council tax and every other form of tax for 40 years plus.

I am married with a young daughter, both myself and my husband work.
-We are not entitled to housing benefit, or any other benefit for that matter.
-We do not get free eye tests, free dental care or free prescriptions.
-Our daughter is not entitled to free school meals, or free breakfast clubs, or free wrap around care, no help with her uniform.
-We don’t get council tax discount, or any other discount.
-We don’t get help with our energy bills, or low cost broadband.
-We don’t get help with the cost of going to the cinema, or days out at theme parks.
-My daughter is unable to play outside unsupervised, because you have failed to secure our borders and the streets aren’t safe.
-If I work more hours, I fall into the higher tax band.
