When you are soundly drummed out of office, @realDonaldTrump, you will be held to account for all of your misdeeds and treachery. Weak. Sad. Poor. Unloved. A loser unlike anyone has ever seen. @POTUS #ByeDon #penitentiary
Joe Biden is a corrupt politician, and everybody knows it. Now you have the proof, perhaps like never was had before on a major politician. Laptop plus. This is the second biggest political scandal in our history!

Overturned elections. Attacks on police. A demolished East Wing. A new war. Trump has already done what no one imagined. Don’t wait to see what’s next.

OSSOFF: For this committed lifelong racist, the fact that Black voters were instrumental to his defeat is even more offensive than the defeat itself. And so he thought he could send federal agents to Georgia to intimidate you. How foolish of them.

He just wants to go where they will feed his ego and buy his BS.

This is easily THE most DEVASTATING clapback I have ever heard, by any candidate, from either party. trump said he wants metal detectors for El-Sayed. El-Sayed says sure, but lie detectors for YOU. First question: EPSTEIN. He is SO good at this.🔥

Here’s another clip of a woman reading Trump’s words verbatim from a recent rally in Mississippi that puts a giant magnifying glass over how gone he is cognitively and unfit he is for office.

Replying to @ABDanielleSmith
@ABDanielleSmith @UCPCaucus don’t give a damn about the average Albertan. They just spent $330M of your tax dollars to pretend they did. Now they’ll do whatever the hell they want. Groundhog Day…

What's being aimed at Abdul El-Sayed by Trump is not a policy disagreement. It is the President calling a Michigan-born doctor a "jihadist" and saying he'd need a metal detector to enter the Senate. It is a sitting senator mocking him with a nickname about his faith. It is crowds shouting "traitor" at the sound of his name, and a flood of online smears about his religion, his family, and his community. Let’s call this what it is: Islamophobia. I've always said: before you tell me about your religion, show it to me in how you treat other people. By that measure, the people attacking Abdul's faith are failing their own. Hate aimed at a Muslim is poisonous, just as is hate aimed at a Jew, a Christian, a Sikh, or anyone else. It is beneath the presidency, beneath the Senate, and beneath who we are as Americans. Debate ideas. But we have to reject the politics of hate, and we have to do it out loud.

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026) Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love. We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway. America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire. His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen. Ian McKellen 29 October 2026 Photo: University of Huddersfield

✅ Good news: The DOJ’s lawsuit in Alaska is bullshit, and they are going to lose. ❌ Bad news: The DOJ will try this again and again in state after state. “This is their strategy,” Marc Elias says. “This is their only hope.” Headlines tell you what happened. Follow us to know what it means.

I am mid-flight right now and I have just received the news that Sir Patrick Stewart has left us. Modern technology is both an impressive and an extremely cold thing. Internet databases have already begun referring to him in the past tense. “Sir Patrick Stewart was…” and such a surreal sight hangs heavy on my heart. Patrick was a friend. Not a close one, mind you, but it was a friendship, an “acquaintanceship” perhaps, that spanned more than half my life. Ann Cook Calhoun was an extremely well published and well known Shakespeare scholar who also happened to be a dear friend of my family. A better way of describing our relationship is that she became something of a fairy godmother to me, taking an early interest in my education, both financially and academically. Ann and Patrick had been dear friends for many years (since their mutual involvements with the Royal Shakespeare Company) and she often told me that I reminded her of a young Patrick. Of course, I always thought the comment was her way of being encouraging. Once, when I was attending the graduate Acting program at Columbia University, Ann came to New York with my parents and took us all to see Patrick play Prospero in a Broadway production of “The Tempest”. That was the beginning of my association with Patrick and, in that one evening, I saw what an artist and a professional truly looked like. Flash many years forward, and you can imagine our mutual surprise at finding ourselves in the very small club of Enterprise Captains. Just… I’m not sure there’s another word for it but “bonkers”. Every time we saw one another, Patrick and I couldn’t help but marvel at this strange serendipity and how Ann, God rest her soul, would have been over the moon at this kismet. While I always thought that Ann had just been doing me a favor, I eventually realized that she really had seen something in me that would, for whatever reason, prove a connection to her dearest old friend. God, I loved her. Like I say, I didn’t know Patrick incredibly well, but I always knew him to be generous and gracious to a fault. Our first time appearing together as captains was at the network up-fronts in New York. I had arrived late because of my production schedule so I didn’t get to rehearse our bit on stage before we walked out to the lights and cue cards. Of course, I completely missed my mark and had to adjust which made the entire audience laugh. Patrick held his opening line, looked at me and made a gesture as if to say, “You good?” I nodded vigorously, which seemed to elicit another laugh and he nodded back as if to say, “Alright then.” Patrick had presence, generosity and good grace to spare, and along with an incredible intellect, he brought those qualities not only to Jean Luc, but into a lived integrity that made him an exemplar for lost, young actors looking for a way. I’ll always love him for it. I’m just sorry that was our one and only moment on stage together. Even our turn together in “Dr Strange” was pieced together in post. Why? Because he was shooting Star Trek: Picard” and they couldn’t get him off the set. Jean Luc was if not his first love, his deepest. Oh well. Perhaps in the next play, in the next theater, he’ll hold a small, nameless roll for me and I will carry that spear with delight. Bravo, Patrick. I will miss you dearly. Until next time… Engage.

🛢️🇺🇸 Russia has begun delivering diesel fuel to the United States by air. The first shipment, in the form of a cloud, has already departed from the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery. The cargo is expected to reach the American continent within 7–10 days. “You know, Putin is sending us diesel straight from the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery. Huge quantities. I've seen the pictures, there's a lot of fuel there, just an incredible amount. And all of it is flying to us through the air. For free! Nobody has ever sent us this much diesel for free. I told Vladimir: thank you, this is tremendous. A very beautiful cloud, by the way. Huge. Possibly the biggest cloud I've ever seen,” — Donald Trump.

Obama: "I'm not making this up -- the president of the United States is spending time supergluing gold medallions to the mantle in the Oval Office. He's literally doing arts and crafts while we are fighting a war and trying to deal with out of control prices."

Wrong priorities, wrong direction. Alberta needs a government focused on healthcare, education, and affordability, not political distractions. #abpoli

Trump has done everything Putin has wanted him to do. In Helsinki he stood with Putin and disclaimed U.S. intelligence. He lobbied to bring Russia back into the G-7. He withheld military aid to Zelensky and pulled out of Syria to give Russia a freer hand. He questioned NATO, lifted sanctions on Deripaska-linked companies, and walked away from the INF Nuclear Treaty. He walked away from Open Skies, leaving European allies blind to what Russia was actually doing. He slowed down Starlink for Ukraine and struck a diesel fuel deal with Russia even though he could’ve gotten a better deal with Canada. How can you not see the link??

This column caused an uproar. Can't imagine why. Odds are UCP will tilt election odds by stretching city ridings into rural Alberta. Details from still-secret report shows at least three Calgary seats are in play. calgaryherald.com/opinion/co… #ableg #abpoli #cdnpoli #yyc #yeg

The UCP are going to gerrymander Lethbridge in to oblivion because they need, in the Premier’s Chief of Staff’s words, to “level the playing field.” They can’t out-work the Lethbridge NDP, they got their asses beat 4 times in a row, so now they figure they need to cheat to win.
