hi everyone its been a while! due to our finances situation, my mom and i really need help raising money to get back access to reliable transportation in order to get to and from work. anything helps! @gofundme

her car got repossessed due to our very bad financial circumstances and my car is extremely old and beyond repair and needs replacing. all of the funds raised will be going straight to getting her car back in her hands and getting me a used car that will be more reliable.

a recession is *the point.* destroying healthcare and letting viruses proliferate is the point. gutting education to easily control a impoverished, dumb and sick population that relies on ai and highly censored news sources is the point. jailing/killing opposition is the point.

the great depression had Shirley Temple to raise america’s spirits and reassure everyone that brighter days were ahead. and we have that too. we have The Rizzler

this isn't a "hot take" but i encourage everyone 2 read more poetry, classics and nonfic. don't fall for marketing. ask for recs from your artsy friends. broaden your perspective. good literature usually isn't commodified to benefit you or strengthen your worldview.

Bugs are gone dawg. I'm so serious. There are less bugs outside. I waited all summer to be visited by moths last year and barely got to see any. Got a few spiders but even those were far n few between. Bugs are literally dying en masse. THAT'S what you should be afraid of.

I'm so sad Joann's Fabric is closing. I hate this online retail world where you can't go look at and touch fabrics to get inspired to create, and you can't meet strangers who share your interests in stores. The world is feeling increasingly devoid of inspiration and community
