In the aftermath of the Apple Cup, we need to call out @UWAthletics for the atrocious handling of funneling fans into Husky Stadium prior to kickoff
We left our E1 tailgate at 12:30 - even for big games it typically takes 15 mins to get to seats. Sunday it took 40-60 mins
Once we miss opportunities like this, they may never come back. Just like current and past terrible policy decisions, they will reverse on this but the revenue and jobs from these DCs will be gone forever.
This is peak Seattle. Washington just passed the first income tax in state history, the wealth tax bill died but will be back, and now they're blocking the infrastructure that powers the biggest economic boom of the decade. 369 MW across 5 proposed sites, 4 companies willing to pay industrial rates to Seattle City Light.

Incredible stat of the year:
The University of Tennessee did not beat ONE P4 team with a winning record this year, losing all 4 games they played, and THREE of their 8 wins came against G5 or worse schools, and yet…..
THEY WERE RANKED EVERY SINGLE WEEK OF THIS YEAR BY BOTH THE AP AND THE CFP COMMITTEE.
You just can’t make this stuff up.

Update: It will take more time to fix the SR 104 Hood Canal Bridge. It remains closed to vehicle traffic. We expect this to be a lengthy closure. Travelers are advised to use the alternate route around the Hood Canal, or the Port Townsend Ferry @wsferries
