"In St Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast the shortage of diesel is worse than the shortage of gasoline!" News from today after Russia shipped 3 tankers with diesel to the US. Russia did not have a diesel surplus domestically to facilitate exports.

Reports indicate that a 🇺🇦 Ukrainian strike hit an Ozon logistics facility in Russia’s Omsk region. It marks the sixth reported strike to cause significant damage to the 🇷🇺 Russian online marketplace’s facilities.

Russian construction companies have started closing down at an alarming rate. Year over year the number decreased by 4,3% but as of August 2026 more than double that were in the process of liquidation with even more having their bank accounts frozen by the Russian Tax Service.
The volume of announced purchases in the sector for H1 2026 decreased by 23,5% to 4,3 trillion rubles. Russian analysts believe that this is the end of just the first wave of bankruptcies in the sector. These are the companies that lacked funds from the start.
The second waves is that of the companies that had funds but failed to develop a profitable financial model. Revenue and profits in the sector in 2027 may drop by a further 6-10%.

Jobs: 1000
Investment: 4 billion rubles
Area: 40 000 out of group of warehouses with 96 000 square meters.
Rebuild costs: 4 billion - 9,6 billion rubles.
The warehouse is the middle section of 4 joined up warehouses in Omsk hence the 96 000 square meters for the entire facility.
