Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky: “The US is not that competitive. Europe is even less competitive.”
“China is competitive.”
“China is 9/9/6. Even if you are good in Europe, or in the US, how can you out-compete the people who work 9:00 to 9:00, six days a week?”
“I started in a co-working space with 140 companies. Within 5 years, only 3 companies survived. They all worked on the weekends.”
“Within 10 years, only 2 companies survived out of 140.”
“Working weekends is a must if you want to survive. Purely statistically.”
Today, I'm launching Vene: your AI advocate for healthcare.
I used to spend a dozen hours a week managing care for my dad, a disabled veteran, and my mom, who has a severe autoimmune disease. Healthcare was a full-time job for my family.
Our goal is to end the burden of care for every family:
When you're sick, or caring for someone who is, the hard part is everything after the hospital: the referral that never arrives, the test result nobody calls about, the bill that makes no sense, and everything in between.
For my dad, he spent hours on the phone to book an MRI. When he showed up, they told him to his face that insurance had stopped covering it. Then insurance told him to call a list of other offices and get the paperwork sent over himself, and he ended up giving up.
That’s why we’ve trained Vene to handle the toughest aspects of healthcare:
- Coordinating several specialists at once
- Challenging surprise bills and treatment denials
- Catching missed follow-ups and care gaps
My mom uses Vene to coordinate her primary care and endocrinologist, automatically refill and renew her prescriptions, and manage my little sister’s dental appointments.
They were my first users, and now over 5,000 families use Vene, and we're deploying it to another 50,000 patients across provider networks in the US.

3 months building PostMine. Around 120 people tried it, and I still didn't open it every day.
This week I finally paid for SuperX and used it for real. It took less than a day to see why.
So I'm rebuilding PostMine around what they do best, starting with the composer.
What tools do you use to grow on X? Any feature you wish existed?

I came up with 20 Ideas in 12 months using this approach:
1. Pain at my own work
Listing tools took ages, so I made a tool for it. Needed full control over my analytics dashboard, none existed, so I created one.
2. Pain mentioned by others at work
My sister, a kindergarten worker, complains about paper schedules causing mix-ups. I suggest: "How about an app or tool?".
3. Pain in my pivate life
Spending hours finding a movie my wife and I both like, only to have her fall asleep before it starts. I make an app that combines our preferences and suggests available movies on our streaming service.
4. Pain in the life of people I know
I'm a football player. My coach says: I wish there was a system to book training online across all stadiums.
5. Personal pain from people I don't know
I open social media and see "I wish I could book a nanny for an hour". I check the comments where 34 people say "Me too". I build a nanny marketplace.
6. Clone an idea for a new niche
Website builder for zoos.
7. Clone an idea for new geography
Search engine for Mongolia.
8. Clone an idea for a new user case
Uber for massage.
9. Clone an idea with new pricing
Ahrefs that doesn't cost me a liver.
10. Clone an idea as an open-source project
Open source Carta alternative.
11. Idea>Tech>Application
Don't do this. It's called "a solution looking for a problem". It rarely works.
Bonus.
12: Ask a random person: is there a tool/app/directory you wish existed and you'd pay to use?
That's it.
I've used my own advice to come up with:
listingbott.com to automate listings.
seobotai.com automate my seo.
unicornplatform.com build directories fast.
countvisits.com better analytics for websites.
indexrusher.com/ index page pages faster.
marsx.dev/ build saas in days vs months.
Btw,
How did you come up with your latest idea?
