The "🚨$8.3M heist" hangs on one "proof" string. So I forged my own — 3,000,000 $DERO out of thin air, same transaction ID, Verified ✓. Not one coin moved on chain.
A "proof" anyone can fake. A mint the protocol forbids. Pull the string, the whole thing falls.

$DERO declared dead...yet keep on pushing PRs
Strange, isn't it?
Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy. And ideas are bulletproof

DERO is a scam.
Don't believe anything good about DERO.
Will soon be renamed ZERO.
Lost 97% of it's value in a year, now only 120K in narket cap.
What a joke !

#dero.
we are all working to better our futures for our fellow man. Not about the money. It’s so much more than that.
Making a privacy protocol by default means ones day people will choose the default and not be unconsciously raped by gov.
🧠
$dero was founded on the understanding that full exposure to intelligent people/testers/hackers/corp capability is the fastest way to discover/correct weaknesses.
Thank you all for continuous testing, challenging and identifying/proving exploits.
We carry on grateful to all.

Great thanks for sharing.
We should already start building resilience before potentially getting blocked.
Private and unstoppable sites and dApps are and will be build on #TELA's web standard for DHEBP.

We’re preparing for Hard Fork 3, which will activate at block 7,504,640.
We identified an issue with the transaction validation cache that can cause verification errors on some nodes. Please make sure your node is updated prior to the hard fork.

No one cares about Dero. Tell me… has it been fixed since it was discovered that its blockchain is surveillable? This was probably a few years ago but last I heard… Dero was broken and never fixed.

God forbid soemone use modern tools to write better.
Speaking of better, it's never too late to use AI to analyze $DERO blockchain code and understand why it's the privacy king (real crypto)

Creating coins and moving them are separate systems:
New coins come only from genesis and the block reward.
No discretionary minting.
A transaction can only move coins that already exist.
Range proofs forbid negative amounts, so no transfer can add a single unit to the supply.
For nearly 2 years, many people have repeated the claim that $DERO suffered an inflation bug.
Instead of asking you to trust me, I’m asking you to verify it yourself.
The new Protocol Integrity docs walk through the actual consensus verification path:
• Every transaction is validated by every node.
• 6 cryptographic Sigma proofs are bound together by a single challenge hash.
• Bulletproof range proofs prevent negative transfers.
• Explicit overflow checks stop integer wraparound attacks.
• All ring members’ encrypted balances change by design, including decoys.
Most importantly, the docs clearly separate consensus proofs (which secure the blockchain) from payload proofs (which are display objects and not consensus).
If the inflation claim is true, point to the exact consensus verification step that accepts an invalid proof.
If you can’t, then the claim deserves another look.
Don’t trust tweets.
Don’t trust reports.
Read the code.
Verify the math.

Harry Halpin explains why financial privacy matters
“Imagine if you woke up one day and you couldn't access your bank account. Most people would have no options”
“If all of the world's financial rails go on public ledgers, many of which are going to be centralized, then we obviously need decentralized and privacy-enhanced alternatives to preserve our financial freedom”
“Without financial freedom it's going to be very hard to survive”
Nev: “If government overreach reaches a certain point and the general consensus is that you have an opinion that isn't agreed upon, they could literally just start shutting off your internet and shutting down your bank accounts”
“You connect these dots and the picture looks really grim very quickly. It's important to be able to express your opinions and sharing them is what makes us human. It's how we find progress”
