@derreen2 has 20 of these Derreeny Houses in the garden. Derreenies are tiny creatures, rarer than fairies & the last known sighting was 1855. In 2012, these tiny houses were discovered whilst doing some clearing in the garden. @Corkcoco @pure_cork @Kenmare_dot_ie

Lovely oak which fell in a storm about 10 years ago at Derreen Garden @derreen2 in Lauragh. Sapwood totally decayed but heartwood perfect. Very straight tight grain. Began quartersawing today for local oak whisky casks for @Killarneydistil.
