Interesting market dynamics right now - meme coins have essentially become utility coins The virality of meme coins is having almost 0 impact on price (unless our lord and saviour Elon interacts) I think this is due to new participants all being afk so there is essentially 0 normie bid (they will return once BTC hits ATHs and beyond) The most important factor for meme coins running right now is knowing how good the team running the coin is How far are they willing to push it, how much supply control do they have, is it a a farm that tops at 200k etc Currently all the memes that are doing ok have been done 100s of times before but are being relaunched by competent teams - see the latest john pork coin or $troll as good examples The fact that you now have to bet on the teams means there isn't much difference between buying meme coins and utility coins - although with memes you still have the possibility of something hitting exit velocity and going insane This is not to say in a hot market teams don’t matter, however when things are frothy coins launched by rugger devs and bad teams can still turbo moon if the narrative and mindshare is strong enough This has led me to do the unthinkable and start to bid some bottomed out utility larp gems as the teams are more transparent - this is not to say the teams are not going to be extract and rugging But at least you can figure out who the teams are and what their plans are - whereas unless you are very well connected you are firing blind into memes if you don't know the team P.s.
