It is GTA Month. Hereโ€™s some handy tips: 1) Clean the dust out of the vents of your PS5. If youโ€™re anything like me you havenโ€™t turned it out in 8 months 2) Eat a balanced diet or complex carbs and protein to stay sharp 3) Do your preferred exercise to keep your mind sharp

Friday thought. My biggest issue with people saying design tools are โ€œdeadโ€ is that they overlook how many creatives think visually. I still need a canvas. Somewhere to throw ideas onto a blank page, collect references, step back and spot something I hadnโ€™t seen before. That process helps me work out where to go next. Weโ€™re inspired by what we see. If we spend all day watching agents pump out lines of text, we lose some of those unexpected connections. Itโ€™s the same reason I go to galleries and events in person. Seeing something can spark an idea I wouldnโ€™t have known to ask for. People who spend all day on digital might feel the opposite but for brand and culture moving creative will always be this way.

im four beers deep and i need everyone to understand that wikipedia is the last good thing. millions of strangers agreed to write down everything for free and then argue about citations forever. no ads. no paywall. this should not exist and it does and i'm crying about it

Late-stage capitalism figured out how to monetize loneliness. Erase third spaces. Make going out too expensive. Work people too hard to keep up friendships. Then sell the emptiness back as dating apps, delivery, streaming, and subscriptions. Isolation as recurring revenue. Nasty work.
