JUST IN: The @utahreps and @utahsenate will elect new leaders tomorrow after a big election-day supermajority shakeup. It does not appear that Sen. Kirk Cullimore will be running for President since he’s losing in his election. Politicos tell me that Sen. Scott Sandall of Box Elder County will jump in the race. No idea how that changes votes for Sen. Evan Vickers, who has been courting votes since the summer. Also, will House Speaker @mschultz_12 face a challenger since he just lost 15 members of his caucus who may have been loyal to him? This will be fascinating to watch.

GOP GAINS: Two Utah House seats that once flipped Democrat on Election night are now back in GOP control after more results.     •    House 4: Rep. Tara Auxier now leads by 141.     •    House 59: Luke Searle now leads by 465. On the Senate side:     •    Senate 11: GOP’s Brooks Benson now leads Fwd party’s Emily Buss by 168 votes. These GOP pickups don’t change the Utah house supermajority shakeup. GOP still down 15 seats if all else holds. We’re expecting more Salt Lake County results tonight after 8 PM, as well as tomorrow and Saturday. @abc4utah

These Trump resignations won’t save the individuals involved. Congress has the power to subpoena not only government officials, but also private citizens. They can’t run from what’s coming.

“How I sacrifice my body is putting my body out there on the line for Dev and the receivers … They catch a ball downfield and they break it loose, I want to be that touchdown-saving block,” said Utah RB Wayshawn Parker. “If Dev is in a pressure for a cool little minute, I want to sit there and block for him, make sure he get that ball off and don’t get sacked.” deseret.com/sports/2026/11/0…

Trump would be wise to work with Democrats to improve people’s lives instead of going down in history as one of the worst Presidents of all time. Democrats would be wise to forward any and all legislation to improve Americans lives and dare him to veto it.

The Administration was selling meme coins. It had to have felt so embarrassing to have voted for the last two years, and that’s what brought us Tuesday night.

Be careful, because estimates can change, but from current data, it would be a real surprise if Scott Colom *didn't* win in Mississippi, and it would be an outright shock if Peltola lost Alaska. At writing (10:20 EST 11/05) Dems are tracking for 56 senate seats (+9 from 2024).

Incredible stat right now from Utah: Total House Vote Republicans: ~325K Democrats: ~342K The Democrats are winning the generic ballot in Utah right now by D+4. Still a lot to be counted, but no statewide race masks one of the bluest shifts in the nation.
