其实中文作者更珍惜ao3就是因为色情内容/擦边/甚至血腥暴力在大陆都没有合法平台可以发…当年被墙的时候就已经哀嚎一片了。 在本土平台就不得不发删改版/考虑敏感词，非常影响纯粹的创作体验…有时候色情本来就是文学的一部分。

I think another issue with people who treat fic as a product & themselves as The Customer is that they can't conceptualize "engagement" outside of building social media presence & profit. But for writers, engagement is about someone saying "I connected w this art, and here's why"

So many people taking about "writing for the love of the game" as if that's at all sustainable for a fan COMMUNITY. It's 100% understandable to be sad that you're getting locked out of conversations and treated like a Content Producer instead of a fellow fan to yap with.
