Apple's app store form was a breeze compared to the byzantine process of submitting to OpenAI's MCP plugin marketplace
Why are we still filling out Canadian government PDFs in 2026. They still haven't adopted the internet

The games we've long wanted, which didn't exist because they'd cost several times more to make than they'd earn back, will soon become possible. As will the games developers wanted to build, but couldn't with the resources available. It'll be a new golden age of gaming.
So a Canadian "cybersecurity expert" who made money negotiating with ransomware gangs on behalf of small towns was arrested for conspiring with a ransomware gang to hack the FBI? 😂😂

Oh FFS. It turns out the req/s in the initial vibed Rust version is within the same order of magnitude as the initial vibed Elixir/Go versions, and even performs worse in some of them.
The history is in the repository! The Rust version only got faster with a bunch of additional work. The initial Elixir/Go versions presented in the tweet below saw none of this additional work. It was comparing a 300 commits Rust version with a 2-3 commits Elixir/Go version.

I've had agents implement and optimize the Campfire web app in Elixir, Go, and Rust. Yes, Ruby is the slowest. I didn't care about that when the pay-off was huge in terms of productivity and developer joy. But if you're no longer reading the code? github.com/basecamp/once-cam…

The shown benchmarks use non-equivalent implementations: Elixir routes all DB queries through a single GenServer with Redis for jobs (retained from Rails), while Rust uses in-process queues, omits CSRF tags/fields, and applies other caching changes.

One more launch today: the new MCP Events spec is now supported in ChatGPT 🎉
MCP servers can now push real-time updates (messages, comments, status changes, whatever) to ChatGPT, triggering automations for your users 🤯
It’s easy to add to your MCP server, too! Just point Codex at the docs and let it rip:

in the early days of WWI, military aircrafts did not have synchronized machine guns, so pilots sometimes fired handguns at each other during flights.
this resulted in the M1911 pistol with an extended magazine and a wire brass-catching cage.
