Jacobin didn’t endorse Kamala because they perfectly envisioned this sequence of events and concluded that this horrific suffering would increase by 3% the chances of a Scandinavian socialist winning a presidential election in the 2040s

TRUMP on HIGH GAS PRICES: We’re making money like we’ve never made before. They’ll say: President Trump is bragging about all the money they're making while people are suffering at the pump. I don’t give a damn. We’re making a freaking fortune.

*Democratic
The replies from Democrat loyalists are showing why trans people need to leave the Democrats en masse, organize, & form an independent political bloc.

Most polls are useless now. The vast majority are communications products, and the few rigorous public polls are so flawed as to be useful only in tracking big shifts and registering strong consensus. Not the ideal way to confirm that, but a good reality check nonetheless.

Ryan there's still 2 weeks to get Platner back in the race. You've got to discredit his accuser once and for all. Dig through those dumpsters there's got to be something

THEY RAN AWAY?! I Just showed up at Mahoning County’s title department for an in-person records inspection under the statute — the records tied to the Acton case. Clerk of Court bounced me: “We don’t do microfilm anymore. Go to the title department.” Walk in. Deputy tells me the woman who runs records left the building three or four minutes before I got there and said they’re closed the rest of the day. If the case is locked tight and airtight… why are people running? I’m not going anywhere. If you think you’ll hide from me till the end of this election you’re going to lose that bet.

I participated in the annual ritual by which the dictatorship of capital is superficially legitimated by limited input and qualified feedback from the upper middle class. I’ll take the center-right imperialist omnicide, thankyouverymuch, not the mega-decadent ultra-right variety.

The Trump admin is moving forward on plans to impose financial penalties on Americans in default on their federal student loans and hire private debt collectors to go after them. The plans are unlikely to be announced until after the midterms. washingtonsun.com/economy/tr…
