3 years ago today, called 911 thinking my wife was having a stroke and hours later found out it was in fact a brain tumor (glioblastoma), so halloween time kind of fucks me up a little. her childhood was shitty, especially holidays...
...where we lived in NJ they didn't do trick-or-treating (omg fent in candy!!), but here they do and it's just really upsetting to me that she doesn't get to enjoy handing out far too much candy to the parade of kids that will be here tomorrow.
I have two pounds of chicken (breasts) that has to be made into something, and I'm thinking a healthy-ish slop bowl or casserole type thing, but I have no ideas… also the silicone ring for the instant pot has vanished, fwiw.
