Why does a great game need to have elimination stakes? Bama Georgia was great. Texas Ohio state was great. Oregon Ohio state in 2024 was great. None of them had elimination stakes
we don’t need every game all year to be an elimination game or have bigger ramifications. Let’s just watch great football games all year because they are great football games. Just like we always have
I never once turned on a game on a Saturday in October because someone was going to be eliminated. Not in 1990, not in the BCS era, not in the CFP4 era, and not now. I turned on that game because it was a game featuring great teams that I couldn’t wait to watch
We are replacing 4 neutral site CVGs and 6 neutral site bowl games with 12 extra on campus playoff games.
That’s a big win to me
Is this new system perfect? No. There are things I would change. But the current system isn’t perfect either. Nor was the one before or the one before that or the ones before that. There has never been a perfect system in CFB
I’m just excited we are giving more fanbases more reasons to stay engaged and we are getting more quality on campus football games going forward.
Proposals for FCS and FBS out-of-season and preseason practices are now formally adopted following today's DI Cabinet meeting and are effective January 2027. More on those changes: 👇

The next chapter for @oregonfootball is taking shape with its new practice facility under construction 👀
Super impressed with this committee. Best one I can remember. Actually valuing WHO you beat and not just counting losses.
Good start for this group
Buckeye fans don’t realize how good we have it.
Ohio State has one of the best records over the last 5 seasons.
I don’t know how you can say he doesn’t try to win.
Ohio State is 11-7 against Top 10 teams since 2022.
Replying to @shappellaustin
Every coach has inexcusable losses. I just want a coach that tries to win. I want a coach that tries to maximize the advantages he has, instead of one that actively kneecaps his own team by downplaying those advantages and eliminating any margin for error every week.
Just run hurry up the rest of the season.
We lose every single coaching battle when we are doing check with me adjustments at the line
