Harmon, who spent 28 years with the Cedar Park Police Department (including the last five as chief), was announced as RRISDโ€™s next chief in early October 2026. He is scheduled to start November 9 after retiring from Cedar Park on November 6. Superintendent Hafedh Azaiez has praised the hire. At the same time, a 42-page federal complaint filed April 30, 2025, in the Western District of Texas (Tanya Zurba v. City of Cedar Park, No. 1:25-cv-642) identifies Harmon as the final municipal policymaker whose alleged โ€œad hoc policyโ€ of a โ€œculture of indifferenceโ€ was the โ€œmoving forceโ€ behind constitutional violations. The lawsuit centers on former Cedar Park Officer Keco Motton. Multiple women alleged Motton, while uniformed, armed, and on duty (and using his mental-health officer designation), sexually assaulted or groped them during domestic-related calls, including the plaintiff in May 2023. The complaint states Motton admitted sexual contact during interviews with Texas Rangers; he was arrested, resigned, and died by suicide days later. Plaintiffs allege the department (under Harmon) failed to adequately train, supervise, investigate prior complaints, or discipline Motton despite earlier reports, internal affairs activity, and warningsโ€”creating deliberate indifference to citizensโ€™ Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment rights to bodily integrity. These remain allegations; the City is the named defendant under ยง 1983 municipal-liability theories. This arrives against RRISDโ€™s own record of police-department instability: โŒJeffrey Yarbrough (first chief, roughly 2020โ€“2022) left for the Hutto Police Department. He and other officers were named as defendants in ongoing federal litigation arising from arrests of parents at board meetings. โŒDennis Weiner (hired ~2022/2023) faced a 2023 Texas Commission on Law Enforcement investigation finding he and an assistant chief had not completed required licensing and background processes before serving. An internal review described a โ€œtoxic,โ€ divided department with favoritism and communication failures. After Weiner alleged district leadership delayed notifying police of a sexual assault of a five-year-old on a school bus and raised other non-reporting issues, he was placed on leave and his contract was not renewed. He sued under the Texas Whistleblower Act; the case remains pending in federal court (with a jury trial scheduled). โŒRyan Urrutia (hired September 2024 from the El Paso County Sheriffโ€™s Office) departed earlier in 2026. Whistleblower-style complaints circulated (noted by observers as not independently verified) alleging retaliation, confidentiality issues, skipped hiring exams, high turnover, and other operational problems. โŒInterim leadership, including Latriesha Grandy, also cycled out quickly (Grandy departed July 2026). The department has seen multiple chiefs or interims leave in roughly six years, with ongoing staffing shortfalls reported. โŒHarmonโ€™s wife, Julie Harmon, is already an officer in the RRISD department and has raised questions about chain-of-command and conflict-of-interest optics, as well as her prior involvement in background work tied to an earlier chief Weiner hire that TCOLE later faulted. Mike Harmon has publicly stated his wife will resign once he becomes Chief. Julie Harmon is still listed as of today (10/26/2026) on the Round Rock ISD police website. The pattern under Superintendent Azaiez, who has a one-way permanent restraining order for violence against a pregnant woman, has included licensing lapses, culture complaints, whistleblower litigation, and now the arrival of a chief whose prior department is defending a serious federal suit alleging systemic failures around an officer who sexually assaulted women and later died by suicide. Whether Harmon brings the โ€œstabilityโ€ the district has publicly sought remains to be seen; parents and taxpayers have legitimate reasons to scrutinize both the incoming chiefโ€™s record and the districtโ€™s broader history of police oversight. @M4LWilCoTX

Superintendent Hafedh Azaiez told staff Harmon has accepted the job, pending a psych eval and fitness test, with a Nov. 9 start. Harmon spent 28 years at Cedar Park PD, the last five as chief of that 114-officer department. Azaiezโ€™s email also says Julie Harmon will stay, report to Sgt. Pope rather than her husband, and that this creates โ€œno conflict of interest or personnel issues.โ€ That is not how a chain of command works. The moment a complaint against her needs the next level of review, that person is her husband. Sergeants will know that disciplining the chiefโ€™s wife can end their own career. Officers will assume favoritism from day one. Public TCOLE records also show Officer Julie Harmon previously handled background work tied to an earlier RRISD chief hiring that the state later faulted. The omission fits a longer pattern @drbone4tx has documented. This is the fourth permanent chief search in about six years under Azaiez: โšซ๏ธChief Dennis Weiner and Assistant Chief Rosemarie White acted as peace officers before required Texas licensing and background checks were finished. A 2023 TCOLE investigation found the pre-employment process was not followed. An internal review called the department toxic, divided, and marked by favoritism. Weinerโ€™s contract was not renewed after he alleged leadership failed to properly report a sexual assault of a young student; he sued under the Texas Whistleblower Act and a federal lawsuit is still in progress with a jury trial set for later this year. โšซ๏ธChief Ryan Urrutia, hired in September 2024, was out by spring 2026. This account published whistleblower complaints โ€” which flagged as not independently verified โ€” alleging retaliation, confidentiality breaches, hiring that skipped psych and physical exams, evidence-handling problems, and turnover of 13-plus officers, with some campuses down to one officer or none. Bond-funded vehicles were reported sitting unused. โšซ๏ธUnder Chief Yarborough, two fathers were arrested after attending board meetings and speaking out about COVID restrictions and the superintendentโ€™s protective order tied to family-violence allegations. โšซ๏ธInterim chiefs have also cycled out, including Latriesha Grandy in July 2026. Azaiez himself is under an agreed permanent civil restraining order tied to 2021 allegations by a former girlfriend that he assaulted her while she was pregnant. Azaiezโ€™s email treats the spouse arrangement as closed. The record is licensing failures, lawsuits, staffing collapse, and another chief whose family is already inside the department. Parents should ask, on the record, who actually disciplines the chiefโ€™s wife when the sergeant will not. @TCOLE @RoundRockISD @TheLufkinLawyer

NJ leading groombrarian Martha Hickson is in Antwerp, Belgium. That doesnโ€™t stop her from attempting to keep harming NJ school students with American Library Association lies about book banning. Is there a statute of limitations on NJS 2C:34-3? Were she in jail this would stop. I said groombrarians were excited that the ALAโ€™s law eviscerated Pico, and here it is in writing a day or so later. They never stop being groombrarians. They have to be stopped. We have to stop them. The ALA law is in Maryland, New Jersey, Illinois, and a number of other blue states. So Flamer, a book that could have been pulled from a school under Pico, will now stay in the school because ALA created a long series of hurdles thatโ€™s so hard to jump that a court has ruled the burden wasnโ€™t met so the book stays and the groombrarians can rejoice and spread the win nationwide. And thatโ€™s exactly what groombrarian Martha Hickson is doing, starting with the NJ Readington Township School Board and the eighth graders reading the grape book Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Groombrarians excited that American Library Association engendered state law (Marylandโ€™s Freedom to Read Act (2024)) has sidestepped the US Supreme Court Pico case. But itโ€™s for a narrow reason that could be easily remedied. Letโ€™s look how in this thread ๐Ÿงต.

Why is it that no one says India is not diverse enough? or China? Or Singapore? Or Mali? Or Mexico etc? But Ireland, America, France, Italy, Canada & so on, all these majority white countries have to be diverse or there is something fundamentally wrong with them? So diversity is only needed if a society if majority white?

The Round Rock Diwali Festival ran Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 1โ€“10 p.m. at Centennial Plaza (301 W. Bagdad Ave.), the same complex as the Allen R. Baca Center early-voting site. Early voting that day was open 7 a.m.โ€“7 p.m. (12 hours). The festival therefore overlapped voting for six hours exactly half the polling window.โ  The festival website explicitly warned of expected road closures around Centennial Plaza and advised allowing extra time. Recommended parking was a 6โ€“8 minute walk away. The event occupied the plaza at the approach to the voting location entrance.โ  Festival booths were positioned right up to the entrance, well inside the 100-foot restricted zone where Texas law prohibits electioneering, loitering, and the posting or distribution of political materials related to candidates, parties, or measures. Election judges did not regulate or monitor these booths. No formal electioneering complaints have been reported, but in a large festival crowd many attendees are unaware of the 100-foot rule, and enforcement or identification of violations would have been extremely difficult.โ  This created avoidable barriers to parking and access at one of the countyโ€™s busier early-voting sites on the only full Saturday of the early-voting period. Officials knew both the fixed early-voting calendar and the festival schedule in advance. Voter access was not protected first. A second site in the same county has also drawn concerns. The Islamic Center of Brushy Creek (Cedar Park) is an official early-voting location. On Friday it hosted multiple events from roughly 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., community members reported the parking lot was overflowing with vehicles parked along the road. This created additional access friction during voting hours. Two voting locations in Williamson County have now been identified as having conditions that can interfere with voter access or create practical difficulties enforcing electioneering rules. These are not minor scheduling conflicts. When large events are placed at or immediately adjacent to active polling places during early voting, the burden falls on voters. Officials owe a clear public explanation of who approved the arrangements, whether election administrators were consulted, and what contingency plans protected access. @cslape @AmyMek @Carlos__Turcios

Same pattern just down the road in Round Rock, Texas (Williamson County). At the BACA center, one of the busiest early-voting locations in the county, contractors moved candidate signs yesterday (10/23) from the plaza to a smaller side area. Today the main parking lot and the usual handicap voting location are blocked off while an event is set up and held. Democrats have a booth promoting their candidates outside the 100-foot zone, and the school district also has a booth with VATRE signs. That raises a fair question: why should candidates, parties, or districts have to pay for festival booth space just to reach voters at an official polling place on the one full Saturday of early voting? A volunteer reported no line at 3 p.m. today at a site that normally sees steady traffic. Volunteers are documenting restricted access to parking and the relocated signs. Officials in Southlake and Williamson County both knew the early-voting calendar. Parking and access restrictions at active polling places on the only full Saturday deserve the same public explanation: who approved them, when, and why voter access was not protected first. I believe @DataRepublican's conclusion below is sound. But I would add something important. Throughout the Bible, God repeatedly works through ordinary people who are willing to act with extraordinary faith and courage. And that brings us to a fundamental truth: God's help does not relieve us of our responsibility to act. James made that unmistakably clear: "Faith without works is dead." โ€” James 2:26 One of my pet peeves is hearing people say they'll pray for God to solve a problem, then go right back to watching football or reruns of The Golden Girls, without any intention of doing something themselves. Prayer is important. But prayer should never become an excuse for inaction. Rather than asking God to solve our problems for us, we should ask Him to give us the wisdom to recognize what must be done, the courage to confront evil, and the strength and perseverance to see the job through. The Bible repeatedly teaches us to act with courage rather than surrender to fear. Consider what God told Joshua as he prepared to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." โ€” Joshua 1:9 Notice what God did NOT say. He didn't tell Joshua to sit back, pray, and wait for the obstacles to disappear. He told Joshua to be strong and courageous, and promised to be with him as he led his people forward. Joshua still had to lead. The Israelites still had to act. That's the lesson for us today. We face serious threats to our Constitution, our freedoms, and the future of our country. Whatever ultimately proves true about the material @DataRepublican has uncovered, the appropriate response is not fear, resignation, or waiting for someone else to rescue us. It is vigilance, accountability, and lawful, courageous action. We Are The Cavalry. We cannot delegate the responsibility for saving our country to God, to politicians, or to anyone else. We must accept that responsibility ourselves, while asking God to guide and strengthen us. America's future will be shaped by the choices we make, the principles we defend, and our willingness to stand up for what we believe is right. We can choose complacency and surrender, or we can choose faith, courage, and action. And if we truly believe God is with us, what reason do we have to be afraid? At Giant Slayersโ„ข, we've made our choice. With God's grace, we intend to act with strength, courage, and unwavering determination to defend our Constitution, preserve our freedoms, and save the country we love. Because faith should inspire action, not replace it. @realDonaldTrump @bannons_warroom @stephenkbannon @raheemkassam @nataliegwinters @maureen_bannon @gc22gc @charliekirk11 @JackPosobiec @CSalcedoShow @stinchfield1776 @WatchChad @SaraGonzalesTX @PasReport @laralogan @GenFlynn @brianeharrison #GiantSlayers

Southlake, Texas: Why Is a Diwali Festival Blocking Voter Access Hours Before It Even Begins? Today is the only full Saturday in Texasโ€™s early-voting window. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Southlake Town Hall (1400 Main Street). The city is reportedly closing streets and hundreds of parking spaces around Town Square for a Diwali festival that begins at 3 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. Voters are already reporting blocked parking and restricted access. One resident told RAIR Foundation USA: โ€œVoting for Tarrant County TX in Southlake Town Squareโ€ฆ..hundreds of parking spots being blocked due to Dawali festival that doesnโ€™t start until 3pm.โ€ Residents say the closures are justified by fireworks that wonโ€™t happen until later tonight. Why are the city and the Southlake Foundation scheduling setup and access restrictions on the single Saturday working people have been given to vote early, overlapping the entire voting day, for an event that does not begin until mid-afternoon? Diwali itself is November 8. The festival could have been held any other day. Early voting could not. Tarrant Countyโ€™s schedule is fixed: October 24 is the only Saturday with full 7-to-7 hours. Southlake Town Hall is an official early-voting site. The Southlake Foundationโ€™s own materials list the event at Town Square from 3โ€“10 p.m. Officials knew both calendars! Yet residents are being told the parking and street closures are necessary. No public explanation has been offered for why setup could not wait until after voting hours, why alternative parking was not secured in advance, or whether election officials were even consulted before the closures were approved. The questions are straightforward and still unanswered: Who approved the parking and street restrictions? When were they approved? How many spaces were taken out of service? Were Tarrant County election officials consulted? What contingency plan exists so voters can reach the polls without disruption? If the fireworks are the real reason, organizers and the city had every opportunity to stage the event without treating voter access as secondary. They chose not to. One resident asked the obvious question: โ€œWhy would the city allow any event during voting, the only Saturday of early voting?โ€ Others are already calling it an avoidable obstacle, and some are asking whether the scheduling reflects coordination or simple indifference. Mayor Shawn McCaskillโ€™s office and the Southlake Foundation should answer publicly instead of forcing voters to document the problem themselves. Voting is not a scheduling inconvenience. When an official polling location is surrounded by closed parking on the only Saturday of early voting, officials owe the public a clear explanationโ€”not silence and blocked spaces. If you are in Southlake today, document it. Photographs, videos, and timestamps of the closures and their impact on people trying to vote will force answers. Officials who believe they handled this correctly have nothing to hide. Why was voter access not protected first?

A 14-year-old was allegedly restrained, stripped, and subjected to sexual contact by four older football players in the Boyd High School locker room on Sept. 3. Two 17-year-olds face felony charges. Boyd ISD says staff โ€œresponded promptly and appropriatelyโ€ and placed no one on leave -even though affidavits describe a coach wanting it kept in the locker room. Now the school board is trying to remove the SRO tied to the investigation. Students deserve better. Demand full transparency and accountability from Boyd ISD leadership and the adults involved. Contact the board and superintendent. Share this. Donโ€™t let it get buried. Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo prays for America and Israel as he kneels and weeps in front of the mass grave of his own church members killed in Nigeria. His prayer: "Father, visit Trump - let him increase foot soldiers to come to Middle Belt. Use your power to bring out Benjamin Netanyahu to save us in Nigeria. Father, protect Israel from their enemy... bless America and Israel that would join to save us in Nigeria. I want peace to reign in this country. Fight the battle that we cannot fight."

A "keep your head down and mouth shut and you keep your job" attitude has no place inside our school system. A society that protects its children is a society worth having. End ALL NDAs. End All non-disparagement clauses. End ALL retaliation. INCENTIVIZE blowing the whistle - give staff LEGAL AID. Texas leaders can take a fantastic idea from "Project Safe Schools" - make the offer time-limited. Give them until Christmas morning to turn in every single covered-up crime - from fraud to grooming to targeting parents who speak up. Let's clean up Pub Ed and make Texas Schools Texan Again! @KenPaxtonTX @mayes_middleton @GovHotWheels_TX
The environment in most public schools is set up in ways that can enable this type of abuse. Most adults intuitively understand that for every predator who is caught, many more remain unnamed and in the shadows. The number of predators uncovered in public schools should not be normalized; it should continue to outrage communities and prompt demands that schools prioritize protections for children over the interests of predators. @TrueTexasTea @TexasEd911 @Bentley4Texas @pfisd

I am running for the Leander ISD Board of Trustees. My Place 2 Opponent has just been endorsed/preferred by CAIR Action. Per Leander ISD published Campaign Finance Reports, my opponent has also donated from her LISD Campaign to @GinaHinojosaTX. I will continue fighting to keep kids safe. @jamestalarico has wreaked havoc long enough. Teacher to teacher, heโ€™s received proof of the filth theyโ€™ve put in the hands of LISD students from me, and per 2022 TLO archives, Morath has responded to Talarico that inappropriate IMs and CRT practices are indeed in effect in TX Classrooms. We have a lot of individuals outside of the field of education and policy โ€”handpicked and vying for volunteer school board seats overseeing school budgets and student safety. The future of #TEXAS Children is on the line. #VOTETHEMOUT #TXlege @TexasGOP @TravisGOP @WilcoGOP @KenPaxtonTX @brianeharrison @xpistas @AmyMek @cslape @drbone4tx @elonmusk Iโ€™ve been called many namesโ€ฆIโ€™m the Teacher Mom with @LeaderISD Filth on Posters!

Round Rock, TX. Muslim School Board Candidate, Ayaan Moledina, is Federal Policy Director at SEAT under Cameron Samuels (they/them)โ€”an openly queer activist who has fought book bans, unblocked LGBTQ resources like the Trevor Project, and received the HRC Trailblazer Award. Moledina is also endorsed by CAIR Action which has been designated a foreign terrorist organization by Governor @GregAbbott_TX. Is this the Red-Green alliance in action: progressive left networks + Islamist-linked groups elevating the same candidate? In an Austin Muslims podcast he switched to Urdu and said the race is โ€œfor the entire Desi communityโ€ฆ for the entire Muslim community. This is for us,โ€ adding that he remains Pakistani, brought that culture here, and โ€œwill never let it go.โ€โ  Moledina's parents run SOAL Technologies and a related staffing firm with an office in Pakistan. They sponsor H-1B workers and have coordinated with Pakistani officials on recruiting talent into the U.S.โ  Pakistan criminalizes same-sex acts under Section 377 (up to life in prison). Traditional Islamic teaching treats homosexual acts as forbidden. Mainstream mosques do not affirm them. Would Moledinaโ€™s openly queer boss be freely welcomed to join Moledina's mosque in worship and able to live openly at the familyโ€™s Pakistan office or among the community Moledina says he will never leave behind?โ  Red-Green alliance partners on one side. Permanent Pakistani Muslim identity and family business ties on the other.
