Indeed, the protective effect of TNFi was only observed in patients at highest risk of CRC (UC duration≥10y), among whom colitis-associated CRC mainly occurs.
Better control of 🔥🔥 = ⬇️ risk of #IBD-associated colon cancer ?
One more reason to use effective therapies when needed !
