Dear general public - sorry we (GPs/primary care/NHS) can’t offer service you would like or need - we are working at 120% & demand outstripping supply - every practice is short staffed & under funded. New IT/phone lines might help a bit. But unescapable fact just not enough GPs

Everything wrong with our politics, in one story: Hedge fund manager buys large estate on Dartmoor. Uses vast fortune to challenge the right to camp there. Wins. Local people call on their MP to amend the legislation. Discover he's been funded by the hedge fund manager.

I spoke with two GP practices in Sheffield for this but it could have been anywhere and the message would have been the same. I speak to many GPs every week all over the country and this is the reality. V sick patients, demand through the roof, 12h days, exhausted staff.
“Our whole team has been burnt out. We can’t actually give any more, yet we seem to still be getting the blame for anything and everything." @Emmajourno hears the struggles of GPs working flat out all day every day to look after their patients bmj.com/content/380/bmj.p93

Don’t you dare , the reason General Practice is in this demise is YOUR party , no one else, the Conservatives , remember them , the ones in ‘power’ for the last 12 years. So if your ‘concerned’ perhaps a little bit of reflection may help !
10k patients at this Cosham practice will be getting letters like these today. Local Cllrs, Healthwatch and I are concerned at this decision and the short notice. I’m worried about continuity of care and the impact on other GP surgeries.

GPs just broke the U.K. record for consults in one month - 37 million! All with 1800 fewer GPs. Thank you primary care!

I can totally understand why some people are terrified of a Labour Govt… Listen to the state of this …bloody awful.

Cameron was bad. May was awful. Johnson was appalling. I think a word has yet to be invented that can fully encapsulate the unmitigated disaster that is Liz Truss.

Looks like a lot of money has been made on the collapsing UK Pound by the same people who made money out of Brexit and who funded the election campaign of Lizz Truss. Probably just a coincidence.
