Nice walk along the river with the boys and Monty today just admiring @LeedsFAS knostrop weir in the sunshine after its great work last weekend. River still fairly high with water flowing over the side walls which acts as a extension to the weir crest. Pulled a pipe out too!

As well as the Foss Barrier in York being in use today, the lower moveable weir at Knostrop in Leeds has also been operated to reduce the risk of flooding. The weir is part of the Leeds flood alleviation scheme. @LeedsFAS
