SeismicSystems is building a privacy-enabled EVM L1 for fintech. Smart contracts remain ordinary Solidity, yet selected fields and calldata can be hidden from external observers through Intel TDX enclaves.
The stack rests on three pillars. The seismic-solidity compiler adds shielded types (suint, sint, sbool, saddress) that compile to private opcodes CLOAD and CSTORE. Nodes must run inside TEEs so the host cannot observe execution. Storage uses FlaggedStorage, where private slots appear as zeros to outside observers. A new transaction type (0x4A) encrypts calldata before it enters the mempool; decryption happens only inside the enclave.
Execution is assembled from Paradigm forks: seismic-reth (the most active client), seismic-revm (Mercury spec), and supporting libraries for Alloy and the trie. Consensus lives in summit - a Simplex-based client aiming for sub-second finality and dynamic validator sets. Trust is enforced by on-chain measurement attestation and a RAM-only root-key custodian.
Developer tooling mirrors Ethereum (Foundry fork, Viem client, SRC20 private tokens). Demos cover private balances, dark pools, and fully on-chain games. Ethereum compatibility is preserved, but privacy depends on the TEE operator, CPU vendor, and measurement policy. For fintech use cases that need private state with familiar Solidity, the stack is coherent and actively developed. For systems that require "nobody, including validators, can see the data," it remains a different model.

If you're still keeping your money on centralized crypto exchanges, I genuinely feel sorry for you..
You have only yourselves to blame.
gMic,
Are major updates coming to our favorite place?
Or what else could this mean?
@SeismicSys
gMic guys!
While others wait for the perfect moment, we keep moving forward. That's what Seismic is all about - consistency, dedication, and believing in the journey.
No pauses, no excuses. Just showing up, putting in the work, and moving one step closer to the goal.
Seismic is my favorite project, and I'm proud to be part of this journey.
Same energy. Same discipline. 24/7. 🚀

gMic everyone!
Time to start making memes.
The humor is funny, of course, but the situation is scary. 😂

Seismic Systems - weekly GitHub update 🧵
Quiet week on socials, but the core stack keeps moving.
Key commits last 7 days:
• seismic-reth: stock Ethereum headers + Engine API now carry millisecond precision via timestampMillisPart in extraData. Prep for sub-second blocks landing. Also RPC redaction + release attestation bundles.
• summit: same timestampMillisPart support + version bump to 0.1.0 + attestation CI.
• seismic monorepo + enclave + seismic-images: TEE/custodian improvements, fixture-devnet refresh, sandboxing, config parsing cleanup, docs.
Repos updated as recently as Oct 23 (seismic-reth, seismic-images).
Building. @SeismicSys

Seismic Systems – weekly GitHub update!
Quiet but productive week on the core stack.
Highlights:
Stock Ethereum-style headers + Engine API payloads now carry millisecond precision via timestampMillisPart in extraData (seismic-reth + summit). Prep for sub-second blocks is landing.
TEE/node side: better configure flow (reads run from network, finds bootnodes from node table), cleaner operator config parsing, and docs refresh.
Small but useful: summit --version shows the exact commit, seismic-viem bumped to 4.0.0, attestation age fix, genesis cleanup.
Still heavy on the enclave/TEE and execution/consensus alignment. Building.

gMic,
While everyone's waiting for their flight, Seismic is welcoming its most important passenger.
The gate is open, the seismographs are panicking, and this isn't turbulence, it's an earthquake.
Big thanks to @Ravondir for the vacation! ✈️

I made a Seismic card featuring Rocky welcoming members of our community at the airport!
Want your own card? Send me a DM on Discord (Ravondirx) or Twitter with your PFP, username, and Magnitude.
Let’s help Rocky welcome every one of us. That way, every Seismic community member can have their own little story in this collection.

Big banks are scared of agents because agents do what’s best for the customer.
Your agent will find you an account that pays you high yield like @brookwellapp
AND make it easier to switch!
Big banks want to max extract from you so they’re banning agents
The AI agent crackdown has BEGUN.
Your AI agent is now being BLOCKED by JPMorgan, Citi and Amazon.
1. JPMorgan bars outside agents from moving money in customer accounts, with Jamie Dimon warning of “rogue agents.”
2. Citi won’t let “third-party AI agents or assistants” log into accounts or transact.
3. Amazon blocked Meta’s Muse agent in September, saying unauthorized AI agents violate its Conditions of Use.
4. Bank of America has reportedly restricted access too, with CEO Brian Moynihan saying there should be a “human in the loop.”
Banks have also warned regulators that AI agents could shift customers’ cash into accounts paying better rates, per the FT.
If JPMorgan, BofA and Wells Fargo paid just 3% on their $1.6 TRILLION of zero-interest deposits, it would cost them $47 BILLION a year.

🌍 SEISMIC is building a new era of onchain privacy!
🔹 Native privacy on an EVM blockchain.
🔹 Familiar tools, confidential transactions.
🔹 Building a future where data stays private.
